Repubs won the electoral college in 2000 and in 2016, while losing the popular vote. trump challenged his popular cote loss in 2016 and his committee was disbanded because there was no voter fraud, as he asserted.

The electoral college should be repealed and the president should be elected with the popular vote. But repubs will never allow that. They are losing party members at an alarming rate and removing the electoral college may lead to the death of their party.
