PEW Poll Shows majority of Americans think Trump should Obey court orders--America Remains sharply divided over Trump Policies at the 100 day Mark

I am heartened that the majority of Americans support the rule of law....even if they disagree

With many of the administration’s actions facing legal challenges in federal courts, there is widespread – largely bipartisan – sentiment that the administration would have to end an action if a federal court deemed it illegal.

A diverging bar chart showing that most Americans say the Trump administration would need to stop an action if a federal court says it’s illegal.
  • 78% say the Trump administration should have to follow a federal court’s ruling, rising to 88% if the Supreme Court were to issue the ruling.
  • 91% of Democrats and 65% of Republicans say the administration would need to stop an action if a federal court ruled it illegal, rising to 95% of Democrats and 82% of Republicans for a Supreme Court ruling.

However, the latest national survey by Pew Research Center, conducted April 7-13 among 3,589 adults, finds much wider partisan differences in evaluations of Trump’s overall job performance and some key policies.

Seven-in-ten or more Republicans and Republican-leaning independents approve of:

  • Trump’s job performance (75%)
  • The administration’s cuts to government (78%)
  • Increased tariffs (70%)
  • Ending diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies in the federal government (78%)

By comparison, even wider majorities of Democrats and Democratic leaners disapprove of:

  • Trump’s job performance (93%)
  • The administration’s cuts to government (89%)
  • Increased tariffs (90%)
  • Ending DEI policies in the federal government (86%)

How many polls did pew conduct, to see how popular the policy of importing 30 million unvetted and hostile foriegners into our country, even if they are gang members or rapists or murderers?

After 4 years of ignoring the law, Dems suddenly want everyone to obey the law. :eusa_think:
.

When it's dragging President Trump over the coals, it's "No one is above the law".

When it's arresting a couple of judges who disobey the law, it's ....

DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHH.............FASCIST.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) explains to CNN's Anderson Cooper why she believes the Biden administration should "ignore" a ruling from a federal judge in Texas that halted the approval of abortion pill mifepristone.

LOL!!! You support the rule of law?! If you did, you would understand that "district" judges ONLY have jurisdiction IN THEIR DISTRICT, not nationally. They have zero authority over the Executive Branch. Courts also have no authority to "make laws."
As for the primary "illegal migrants" that the federal government is deporting:
Tren de Aragua.
MS-13.
Sex Traffickers.
People on terrorist watch lists.
Drug runners moving drugs across that have killed thousands and thousands of Americans.
Murderers escaping arrest in their own country.
Rapists.
Communists that want to change this nation into a dictatorship that would murder millions of our own citizens.
What justifiable reason would you give to have such people here creating more and more victims?

The unelected lib judges have gone rogue and are exceeding their authority

But I’m not surprised if most Americans still respect the courts

Most people dont want to face the fact that the judges are dishonest

FYI, This judge was elected from what I read....

The Pew Research poll being cited was not specific to one lib judge
You should keep that in mind when your political partners begin their fake news campaign on you and twist this one or two judges.... in to all liberal or never trumper judges, and give it as reason for Trump to defy the courts....

Those with eyes to see, and ears that hear, can see this coming, from a mile away!
