Where the wild things are
....The Israeli public has finally had enough (Of Zo'abi), Israel Hayom revealed Thursday: over 85% of Israelis polled have voted to see Zoabi ejectedfrom the Knesset.

By contrast, just 11% of Israelis believe that Zoabi - like she claims - is a "paragon of free speech" and that her remarks are warranted within the right to freedom of expression.

Calls to convict Zoabi over her frequent outbursts of incitement and pro-Hamas activity have been resurrected after a recent scandal regarding ex-MK Azmi Bishara, the traitorous founder of her party who was exiled from Israel after he was found to be working with Hezbollah terrorists in 2007.

Zoabi has been linked to Hamas on multiple occasions, and is infamous for provocative speeches, including one in which she said that Israel has “no right to a normal life” and a later address claiming that “the Israeli occupation” was behind the murder of Israelis in Bulgaria.

85 of Israelis Support Banning Zoabi from Knesset - Inside Israel - News - Arutz Sheva

Not surprising.

You know, the more the Israelis do what they actually want to do the more everyone else realises they are not just pretending to be Nazis, but are the real thing.

The people don't want a certain minister in the Knesset, and act to bring her down. Not only this isn't Nazi, but it's the most democratic thing there is. The ability to choose who represents you.

Ah, well the ability to remove someone who represents people who are NOT you is the other side of the coin there Lipush.

You can try to paint this as "Democracy In Action" as much as you like, but while you operate a dictatorship of Approved Peoples only, your credentials, err - lack a little something. :)

Ok then, so how about bringing down someone who has obviously acted against the law? Against the constitution?

Someone who represents a state but acts against its constitution has nothing to look for in the seats of the Parlament.

You can dress it up how you like Lipush. We know what you are about.

You want to eliminate any parliamentary resistance to Zionism and parliamentary support for Israeli Palestinians.
Even as you twist your rationale, all you do is make it more clear that you do not want any pluralism in your society.
Well, nothing that isn't at least Zionism.

Don't try to pretend that democratic values are important to you.

I try to challenge you into a healthy discussion, I want to know if you're in.

You talk about democracy, so I ask again, how is it democratic to go against the will of 85% of the nation, and how is it democratic to keep in position a memeber of the parlament who goes AGAINST the parlament.

You're so enlightened, wise, and virtuous, so please, O wise one, elighten me.

et al,

This is an internal matter for the Israeli's --- one that requires their unique solution. It is really not a matter for international consideration or critique.

The Jewish State of Israel has their own assessment process. And they should be allowed to address their internal political debates in their own way. That is what makes them who they are.

Most Respectfully,
R

I thought she was elected.

We have a Socialist/Communist Senator from Vermont...Only Elections can remove the will of the Electorate in America...Lip, Israel is a de-facto Zionist Dictatorship...

pbel, et al,

I'm not sure that I can either affirm or deny this.

Your Zionist Pandering is Phenomenal.

I'm sure I don't have a connection in any way with prostitution; though, I take the use here as a bit of literary license. I've had a number of pro-Palestinians call me a "pimp" in this Discussion Group.

I'm not sure if you have to be Jewish as a prerequisite to being a Zionist. You may have noticed that I don't use the word "zionism" (or derivations of the root) very often. I'm not even sure I am qualified to critique the definition and usage. But in addressing the actions, activities and deeds of the past, it is fair to say that I further:
  • Promoting the settlement of Jewish farmers, artisans, and tradesmen in the land of the Jewish National Home.
  • Preserving and Promoting Jewish Culture and Heritage.
  • Organizing and uniting the whole of Jewry.
  • Developing and strengthening of the Jewish national consciousness in furthering peace.
  • Obtaining the consent of governments in order to achieve these goals.
Pandering implies an exchange, a benefit for a benefit. I DO NOT admit to "pandering." But I think it is very necessary to defend the existence, territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Jewish State of Israel. I think it is imperative that those of us with conscious speak out to defend the right of Israel --- protecting the citizens of Israel from all forms of terrorism which threaten their safety and security.

That is what I am, relative to this issue. Am I a "zionist?" I don't know. I am what I am. You judge.

Most Respectfully,
R

Agreed, you are what you are, but you're not Yahweh you only worship it...

Sure idiot asshole, if the lone token jew in the iranian parliament called for the US to destroy the iranian regime, I'm sure a lying turd like you would be the first to scream that they should be killed. You're too fucking stupid for words.

over 85% of Israelis polled

Of Israelis polled - I wonder who they polled.

According to this Jew lot
Jewish Non-Jewish Population of Israel Palestine 1517-Present Jewish Virtual Library
the 2014 population of Palestine (Sometimes known as Israel) was 75% Jew, 25% the real owners of the land.
That, as a note is a far greater percentage of jews when you look at 1517, then there were only a handful of Jews in the area, less than 2 in every hundred people.

The idiotic OP is trying to suggest Arabs also dislike this woman, when the truth is, the poll will have been taken amongst extremist Zionist Jews.

Ohhh, go on <lol> . . . the apartheid state of Israel has no constitution. You obviously don't know s**t from Shinola about those whom you champion. ~ Susan

Zoabi was elected, so tough titty.
You should be proud of the Supreme court for overturning the previous attempt to ban her.
I am at odds with Israel on many occasions but there are also many laws and principles as a jew I admire.
The protection of a women's right to abortion and that the state delivers it free in most cases is only one.
The fact that a transvestite represented Israel in the Eurovision is another.

Exactly! Because she is an Arab, Jewish members of the Knesset obviously discriminate against her . . . remember, apartheid Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East <guffaw> unless of course, you elect to oppose the opinion of the majority in power. ~ Susan

How do you work that one out, oh and by all accounts the real NAZI's are the muslims who were the basis for the NAZI final solution
