Poll of U.S. Muslims Reveals Ominous Levels Of Support For Islamic Supremacists’ Doctrine of Shariah, Jihad
Press Releases | June 23, 2015 | The Muslim Brotherhood in America, Understanding the Shariah Threat Doctrine

According to a new nationwide online survey (Below) of 600 Muslims living in the United States, significant minorities embrace supremacist notions that could pose a threat to America’s security and its constitutional form of government.

The numbers of potential jihadists among the majority of Muslims who appear not to be sympathetic to such notions raise a number of public policy choices that warrant careful consideration and urgent debate, including: the necessity for enhanced surveillance of Muslim communities; refugee resettlement, asylum and other immigration programs that are swelling their numbers and density; and the viability of so-called “countering violent extremism” initiatives that are supposed to stymie radicalization within those communities.

Overall, the survey, which was conducted by The Polling Company for the Center for Security Policy (CSP), suggests that a substantial number of Muslims living in the United States see the country very differently than does the population overall. The sentiments of the latter were sampled in late May in another CSP-commissioned Polling Company nationwide survey.

According to the just-released survey of Muslims, a majority (51%) agreed that “Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to shariah.” When that question was put to the broader U.S. population, the overwhelming majority held that shariah should not displace the U.S. Constitution (86% to 2%).

More than half (51%) of U.S. Muslims polled also believe either that they should have the choice of American or shariah courts, or that they should have their own tribunals to apply shariah. Only 39% of those polled said that Muslims in the U.S. should be subject to American courts.

These notions were powerfully rejected by the broader population according to the Center’s earlier national survey. It found by a margin of 92%-2% that Muslims should be subject to the same courts as other citizens, rather than have their own courts and tribunals here in the U.S.

Even more troubling, is the fact that nearly a quarter of the Muslims polled believed that, “It is legitimate to use violence to punish those who give offense to Islam by, for example, portraying the prophet Mohammed.”

By contrast, the broader survey found that a 63% majority of those sampled said that “the freedom to engage in expression that offends Muslims or anybody else is guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and cannot be restricted.”

Nearly one-fifth of Muslim respondents said that the use of violence in the United States is justified in order to make shariah the law of the land in this country.

Center for Security Policy President, Frank J. Gaffney, Jr., observed:

The findings of the Center for Security Policy’s survey of Muslims in America suggests that we have a serious problem. The Pew Research Center estimates that the number of Muslims in the United States was 2.75 million in 2011, and growing at a rate of 80-90 thousand a year. If those estimates are accurate, the United States would have approximately 3 million Muslims today. That would translate into roughly 300,000 Muslims living in the United States who believe that shariah is “The Muslim God Allah’s law that Muslims must follow and impose worldwide by Jihad.”
It is incumbent on the many American Muslims who want neither to live under the brutal repression of shariah nor to impose it on anybody else to work with the rest of us who revere and uphold the supremacy of the U.S. Constitution in protecting our nation against the Islamic supremacists and their jihad.

The original survey instrument screened respondents for age, religion, gender, and region. An online sample frame was selected for this study due to the difficulty in reaching Muslim-Americans over the telephone on account of their low incidence among the nationwide U.S. population (http://pewrsr.ch/1LsdBs8/; Islam in the United States - Euro-Islam: News and Analysis on Islam in Europe and North America). "Since Sept. 11, 2001, nearly twice as many people have been killed by white supremacists, antigovernment fanatics and other non-Muslim extremists than by radical Muslims: 48 have been killed by extremists who are not Muslim, including the recent mass killing in Charleston, S.C., compared with 26 by self-proclaimed jihadists, according to a count by New America, a Washington research center."

Have a well-known Muslim group like CAIR do the poll and bet the result would be closer to 100%.

Do you idiots actually think that someone actually polled muslims and got this response.

It's a hoax, dummies.

Created by a far-right group of phonies.

You can basically only generalize about the polled population using an online survey. A business wants to know if anyone who uses a specific brand is having a special problem, would be an example. They find out if anyone having the problem has a solution, maybe.

The only standard used in the poll of the 600 is that they were polite, and provided certain assurances to the respondents. Some respondents may have been pranksters. Some may have been Chauvinist Moslems, surprised that anyone in the USA knew about Sharia. Some may not be skilled at English. Most are likely upper class, or upper middle class, students, or people who had to turn to some specific website to even sign on. They had to be a certain class of internet users. Some may have been FBI or undercover, wondering if the poll were some new recruiting device(?).

There can be no generalization to the PEW research estimates, or even to the suggested population in the PEW research. The poll respondents may have been Baptists, thinking they were giving Islam a bad name, or Catholics trying to win converts, or Jews trying to target potential desecraters.

Again, "Business surveys, for example, as opposed to political opinion polls, are best done online – in part because they are usually aimed at (potential) buyers rather than the entire population. In contrast, opinion polls preferably want to gauge the entire society, and therefore need to go beyond the online community." Opinion polls are best done like opinion polls are done, so that results can be suggested as being representative of an entire population, not just a few users of a specific product, or part of a product.

The survey reported did not use general population opinion polling methodology.

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Young warrior taste sugar, sweet, with no side effects. Young Warrior eat sugar, 24/7, based on that(?)! Hmmmm!)

ore likely these were cops, wondering who would create a poll that no one Moslem would likely answer. The only standards cited are mainly about politeness, privacy, and so on. It is not an opinion poll, using opinion poll level of methodology. It is a poll, more like, "based on what you have heard, do you agree or disagree. . . ."

Catholics could answer. Jews could answer. Baptists could answer, Mormons could answer. Moslems could answer. Sunni could answer, Shia could answer. People on any of the world's continents could have answered. At least 600 forms of lunatics appear to have answered. The findings apply to none of the above

Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Sugar is sweet, according to poll. Therefore, best consumption must be 24/7 basis!)

Muslims supporting an Islamic state?

Who woulda thunk?

Yeah. Who woulda thunk and here we have brainless bringing unvetted Syrian refugees into America by the thousands even though a majority of American don't want them.

Refugees that will cost the American taxpayer 6.5 Billion dollars. Such a deal for America.

Obama appears to be following his agenda. An Agenda that doesn't have America's best interests in mind.

Don't know bout you but I, for one, can hardly wait to see the backside of this asshole and his posse of idiots.

Are you forgetting the male shooter at San Bernardino was American born. He had no problem killing friends and co workers. If you think he'll be the last home grown terrorist out there than your lying to yourself.

Demonizing American Muslims my ass.

This poll was from a year ago, but it gives you an idea where western nations are headed.

16% of French Citizens Support ISIS, Poll Finds

BY MADELINE GRANT 8/26/14 AT 12:49 PM

One in six French citizens sympathises with the Islamist militant group ISIS, also known as Islamic State, a poll released this week found.

The poll of European attitudes towards the group, carried out by ICM for Russian news agency Rossiya Segodnya, revealed that 16% of French citizens have a positive opinion of ISIS. This percentage increases among younger respondents, spiking at 27% for those aged 18-24.

A recent Ifop poll placed French president Francois Hollande’s approval rating at just 18%.

Wonder if they still feel the same after over 100 of their citizens were gunned down??

Somehow I doubt it.

Who committed this last act of terror? That's right. American Muslims.

It is far less disgusting than Muslims demonizing their own religion, but then you are extremely selectively indignant. In fact you are in "four-legs-good-two-legs-bad" territory.
