As an aside to the Pope passing away, Trump will be there on Saturday to attend the funeral. But what is significant is that a number of world leaders learning of this are now also planning to also attend--- not because of the Pope's death but as a way to get close to Trump and to hopefully get a few minutes with him to discuss resolving tariffs.
