With this kind of theological firepower, America seems certain to emerge victorious against the Chinese Kung Flu. A lot of tremendous divinity experts consulting with Mr. Trump.

If this is effective, why is the virus here in the first place?

Religious people are the easiest to take advantage of

What "theological firepower"? Supposed "religious leaders" don't know any more than the average person on the street does, and won't until they die. They are no more "experts" than anyone else is and no more important than anyone else. Lots of people are praying in their own faiths and own languages. This is just Perkins and FRC trying to promote themselves, as usual.

Of course, that's bullshit. When Democracy was hanging on by a thread during WWII and the national Socialists threatened the world with government healthcare, gun control and genocide, our top general consulted with theologians to compose a prayer to get Almighty God on our side.

The rest of the story is that God did respond with the good weather, and America did prevail in WWII. The precedent is there.

We have turned our backs on God, which will cost us.

None of what you say contradicts my comment. Nobody alive knows any more than anyone else does about A/The Supreme Being. This is impossible. The term "theology" basically is synonymous with "opinion." That one human consults with another human being(s) doesn't reveal anything.

I was channel-surfing yesterday. There were a bunch of shows featuring white guys who supposedly were "Christian." All they did was yak, with several convinced that the Supreme Being agreed with their politics. There was no superior knowledge there; just fakery and two guys in sports coats solemnly agreeing with each other. I can do the same thing. Perkins and the FRC make a fortune off of this stuff by fleecing the ignorant. I'm just saying that no one should get involved with or hero-worship these guys.

BTW: I can see a problem with genocide, but what do government healthcare and gun control have to do with religious thought in any religion? Neither involves a threat.

Actually, its a fact that Theology has always been classified as a Science, not as "opinion" whatever the hell that means.

Tom Aquinas explains in his tome.

In any event, the right to bear arms as well as the right to choose your own medical care are endowed to us by Almighty God. So, of course they are important theological issues.

Aquinas was a theologian. Of course he would justify his own existence. The "rights" you mentioned don't come from the Supreme Being. They have no religious importance whatsoever. They are "issues" entirely created by a few guys with nothing better to do.

That ain't how it works.

You pray for GUIDANCE, wisdom in dealing with a crisis, and the ability to make sound judgements

How is their race significant here? You clearly diminish their opinion BECAUSE they are white, as if the dark races have contributed anything towards the betterment of Mankind aside from those who actually live in WHITE countries.
