News flash to the world: If you dump your crooks and creeps and other uglies into this country and then refuse to take them back, there will be consequences:

LOL. It's okay to hypothesize what might happen.

I like President Trump's attitude that very little is impossible. If it needs to happen there is some way to make it happen.

He is trashed and excoriated for thinking out loud sometimes as he works through all the various scenarios and possibilities and concepts that he thinks about as he works toward a decision or solution about this or that. And he is often including suggestions or concepts or possibilities proposed by others when he does that.

He won't be limited by the status quo or what others think unfeasible or impossible. But he does like to be right.

I am much the same way though I in no way claim to have his skill set for problem identification and solving.

The President of Columbia initially refused to allow the deportation flights to land in Columbia. But Trump quickly convinced him that was not acceptable and there would be consequences. So the President of Columbia sent his own presidential plane to get those deportees.

But just think how great it would be if President Trump could call up the President of Honduras and say that X number of deportees are being held in custody wherever. Please come get them within 24 hours.

(And okay, I know that is highly unlikely to happen. But it is fun to think about.)

The Republican Party continues to believe Friedman because he tells them what they want to hear: All social programs are bad. Wages and prices will naturally adjust if you don't mandate either. Any government control of any portion of the economy is bad. That includes education, health, or transportation.

Even as more and more Americans are frightened and uncertain about their future, they believe tax cuts for billionaires is going to help working men and women. You'll soon be in second tier nation status, if your middle class declines further.

Hey fellow MAGAs, Dragonlady thinks I'm unChristian because I think invaders should be sent packing.

Maybe she's right but I don't think Jesus disapproves of enforcing reasonable and necessary laws. He was pretty clear on that. (He did disapprove of unnecessary hypocritical laws that made no sense.) But I'll accept that I'm a sinner.

But I wonder if we couldn't just shoo them all up into Dragonlady's neighborhood and let her take care of them? That way I may go to hell, but the invaders would enjoy all that Christian compassion.
