It’s getting so bad, and inflation so high, that someone I k is just turned her cat in to a rescue group because she couldn’t afford to pay her own inflated grocery bills, and gasoline, AND pay the increased prices for cat food. She was told at the shelter that they are swamped with cats, and for the same reason.

What in the world are you talking about? Biden’s welfare expansion and threats of even more has resulted in massive inflation, and now the Fed is aggressively raising rates - sending the stock market down. Unlike low-income people who just live off of other people’s money via subsidized housing, food stamps, free Medicaid, etc., I actually saved for 35 years so I could support myself in retirement.

Tens of millions of responsible middle-class people are in a similar boat, and it’s nothing to laugh about. The only people who don’t care are the 1) government pensioners, 2) the affluent, and 3) low-income who get supported by others anyway - the groups that vote Democrat.
