Introduction​

The short answer to the title question: “Is Abortion Eugenics?” is: Yes, abortion (i.e., contemporary abortion-choice policy) can qualify as eugenics wherever a children-in-utero is intentionally terminated for any number of reasons deemed ‘defects’ in the child. Preliminary reasons for this answer are that (1) eugenic abortion is a standing legal term describing any abortions conducted for eugenic reasons; (2) the concept of eugenics never required the coercive laws and pseudo-science with which it was associated in the early 20th century; (3) the onset of genetic testing has greatly enabled our predictive ability regarding fetal health, thus giving us a window of opportunity to abort a child before he or she is born with a genetic defect; and (4) and even with non-genetic defects–that is, traits which aren’t transferred to the child’s future offspring–these are still, by definition, defects and would qualify a child as “defective offspring”, thus satisfying the minimum criteria for eugenic target practice. Aborting such children-in-utero due to their perceived “defects” would still be an effort to improve the “stock” of the next generation of children, and so would qualify as eugenics at least in the broadest conceptual sense of eugenics.

Also, by your definition, good prenatal health practices would be classified as "eugenics", because they decrease "defects". Your standards need some work.

How is the infrastructure bill aimed at reducing population levels? The insane spending will hyperinflate the economy, which is far worse than taxation because you cannot control it and it effect everyone, especially the poor. This reduced quality of living will shorten life spans because the poorer you are the shorter life spans you live on average.

Universal health care is also a scheme to reduce life spans because it is a systematic way to take money out of health care, money needed to help take care of us. By the admission of Progressives, people will simply not live as long with it, but still deem it necessary.

As we look now at the US involvement in China for studying Covid in a lab, something the Progressive elite like Doctor Fauci once denied but was later proven correct, we should also consider their pseudoscience they fed us along the way. But this is nothing new for Progressives. Before the Holocaust the medical establishment in the US was completely behind the eugenics movement. For those that don't know what that is exactly, it was a movement for a master race. That's right, Hitler's ideas for a master race came from Progressives in the United States.

During the '20s, Carnegie Institution eugenic scientists cultivated deep personal and professional relationships with Germany's fascist eugenicists. In Mein Kampf, published in 1924, Hitler quoted American eugenic ideology and openly displayed a thorough knowledge of American eugenics. "There is today one state," wrote Hitler, "in which at least weak beginnings toward a better conception [of immigration] are noticeable. Of course, it is not our model German Republic, but the United States."

Hitler proudly told his comrades just how closely he followed the progress of the American eugenics movement. "I have studied with great interest," he told a fellow Nazi, "the laws of several American states concerning prevention of reproduction by people whose progeny would, in all probability, be of no value or be injurious to the racial stock."

Hitler even wrote a fan letter to American eugenic leader Madison Grant calling his race-based eugenics book, The Passing of the Great Race his "bible."

But just as we are all told by the media today that the GOP is the party to blame for racism in the US today, instead of the party that fought and died to free the slaves, or blaming the democrat party for creating the KKK or Jim Crow laws, we are told nothing of the horrific past of the Progressive era in relation to it's influence on Adolf Hitler.

So who funded this pseudoscience? Rich fat cats like Carnegie and Rockefeller, much like the rich fat cats today like Bill Gates and George Soros that fund the Progressive party for trying to convince us to give up all we know and love to fight carbon dioxide. Or they try to convince us that there are really thousands of genders found by science overnight!

But without political involvement their schemes cannot go forward, which is why the US created sterilization laws to weed out the undesirables.

Eugenics was the racist pseudoscience determined to wipe away all human beings deemed "unfit," preserving only those who conformed to a Nordic stereotype. Elements of the philosophy were enshrined as national policy by forced sterilization and segregation laws, as well as marriage restrictions, enacted in twenty-seven states. In 1909, California became the third state to adopt such laws. Ultimately, eugenics practitioners coercively sterilized some 60,000 Americans, barred the marriage of thousands, forcibly segregated thousands in "colonies," and persecuted untold numbers in ways we are just learning. Before World War II, nearly half of coercive sterilizations were done in California, and even after the war, the state accounted for a third of all such surgeries.

In fact, the Nazi criminals cited how the US still had sterilization laws when asked about their own as their attorney asked how the Nazis could be condemned for such laws with the US had such laws on their own books. In fact, these sterilizations continued all the way to the 1970's.

But had the Nazi war machine not exposed us to the horrors of Progressive pseudoscience, would the US have become what the Nazis were?

Indeed, the Progressive in the US had come up with their own final solution to the "race" problem as they saw it, long before the Nazi regime.

Eighteen solutions were explored in a Carnegie-supported 1911 "Preliminary Report of the Committee of the Eugenic Section of the American Breeder's Association to Study and to Report on the Best Practical Means for Cutting Off the Defective Germ-Plasm in the Human Population." Point eight was euthanasia.

The most commonly suggested method of eugenicide in America was a "lethal chamber" or public locally operated gas chambers. In 1918, Popenoe, the Army venereal disease specialist during World War I, co-wrote the widely used textbook, Applied Eugenics, which argued, "From an historical point of view, the first method which presents itself is execution… Its value in keeping up the standard of the race should not be underestimated." Applied Eugenics also devoted a chapter to "Lethal Selection," which operated "through the destruction of the individual by some adverse feature of the environment, such as excessive cold, or bacteria, or by bodily deficiency."

Eugenic breeders believed American society was not ready to implement an organized lethal solution. But many mental institutions and doctors practiced improvised medical lethality and passive euthanasia on their own. One institution in Lincoln, Illinois fed its incoming patients milk from tubercular cows believing a eugenically strong individual would be immune. Thirty to forty percent annual death rates resulted at Lincoln. Some doctors practiced passive eugenicide one newborn infant at a time. Others doctors at mental institutions engaged in lethal neglect.

But these are facts that the media will never cover, things children in our schools will never discuss. But this same Progressive elitist movement is now at the center of another human tragedy on a mass scale, and that is, the release of the Covid virus from a lab.

Was the release of the virus merely one of many final solutions to the human population problem Progressives now seem so concerned about as it has now killed off close to 10 million people around the world? Then again, the same over population was the concern of the Eugenicists, only, with a racial component attached. As the founder of America’s largest abortion chain, Margaret Sanger’s ideology for Planned Parenthood was cemented in eugenics, the belief and practice that aims to eliminate certain groups of people.
As a eugenicist, Sanger encouraged the sterilization of persons with less desirable qualities, and strongly encouraged the reproduction of groups with more desirable qualities. Sanger’s disdain for blacks, minority groups, and the diseased and disabled spawned the birth of an abortion corporation that profits off the killing of the weakest and most vulnerable. From its conception, Planned Parenthood was built upon the roots of exterminating individuals deemed “unfit” for the human family.
Today, the spirit of Sanger lives on. According to the Guttmacher Institute, the former pro-abortion research division of Planned Parenthood, African-American women are five times more likely to choose abortion over white women. Planned Parenthood clinics are strategically planted in minority communities, targeting blacks and impoverished minority groups, and abortion remains the leading cause of death for the black community.

In a letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble in December, 19, 1939, Sanger exposited her vision for the “Negro Project,” a freshly launched collaboration between the American Birth Control League and Sanger’s Birth Control Clinical Research Bureau. The letter echoes the eugenic ideologies still visible within the corporate vein of Planned Parenthood today.
