So why do citizens living within and watching this degradation continue to vote Democrat?
Is there a subconcious mind that actually prefers to live within a decaying society?

That's an easy one----------> The Modus aperendi of the Left, is to get you to hate the other side soooooooo much in any way they can, that you vote against your own best interests. It is why they always run on identity politics, instead of their policies.

It is exactly why whenever a poll is taken on Biden and he comes out in the low 30s, conservatives are shocked he can even get that much. Suprise! There is actually that amount of far Leftists in our society, and all they have to do is get enough people that are left, to hate the gop, or get them to stay home in disgust so their 35% or so can win the election.

Because they, some Republicans are also, programmed to be contrarian as a reflex. Anything that the other side wants they will be against just to be against it. That's why we have so many cheering for democrats even at the expense of our country and even our own children. They won't see what's happening or even think about the reactions further down the road. They have already made up their mind, they are right and everyone else is wrong that isn't on their side.

And a degraded society is a easily controlled one because then there are fewer morals, fewer people who value American values, fewer that will stand up against what is wrong and fewer people with convictions. You weed out the strong and steadfast and you're left with the weak and soft.

There is something seriously wrong with this current administration and something very wrong with a good portion of our society. And most don't see it because it's small and gradual, most people ignore problems until they get out of control. And that's how all bad things start, very small.

Broke---------> Look at it this way............how does a group of people talk someone into blowing themselves up for a religion? How does a society allow their women to be stoned? If you spout the same lies over, and over, and over again, people begin to believe it!

It is not the police departments job to stop crime. You could quadruple the police departments size in certain parts of the country and not "stop" crime and those societies will not allow that.
Their job;

• Maintain a constant presence in the community through regular patrols to deter crime and provide quick help when needed.
• Secure crime scenes and protect evidence from tampering or loss.
• Attend public events as security to help ensure peaceful attendance.
• Help identify potential crime spots and activities which may result in criminal acts.
• Remain vigilant regarding potential hazards or problems which could harm the public.
• Issue citations for traffic and similar violations.
• Apprehend those suspected of committing crimes.
• Write daily reports of activities.
