The hysteria and the fear-mongering by Democrats should be outrageous enough on its own, but given the history of mostly Republican presidents appointing Justices to the highest court of the land in modern times it really does show just how insane Democrats have become thanks to the party leadership, the media and academia. Sure, Democrats whined about Kennedy when he was appointed by Reagan, but most of their favorite Justices and favorite rulings came from Republican appointed Justices, and eventually Democrats got used to Kennedy ruling in favor of them a good number of the time.

It would be one thing if Kennedy was appointed by a more moderate Democrat who didn’t have a Democrat Senate to work with or something, but Kennedy is literally REAGAN’s guy. What if Reagan had decided that getting a unanimous approval from the Senate wasn’t that important and he appointed judges to the right of Kennedy and O’Connor? What if HW Bush didn’t appoint fucking Souter? What if Republican presidents of the past were like Trump and they appointed justices who were more in line with the presidents who appointed them like Bill and Obama did? What would the Democrats have done?

Yeah, but my point is that leftists used to LOVE Justices appointed by Republicans, not merely tolerate them.

Now they are just whining that Trump is acting like Clinton and Obama did by appointed judges considered to be ideologies.
