Racist garbage in the main political forums....

I'll give that about 2/10. And that's me being charitable.
Talk about senseless......
Normally I'd recommend your kind doing humanity a favor and giving yourselves copper jacketed lead brain probes but in your case an enema will work just fine. We could fit all that is left in a thimble.

Given the opportunity, I'm sure one of your Nazi friends would be able to supply a Luger (or ten).
No offense, Swaggart, but I'd be willing to bet that you would be the one to have Nazi friends.

No offense taken, Ravi. Everyone's got a bit o' the old Nazi in them. Including you. Some just more than others, like Ringel's fancy dress buddies, for instance.
What bit of Nazi do you think I have in me?
He's projecting, as usual. He needs to believe it for simple self justification which is all he has. Hell, self justification is all haters have, be they black, white, orange, green, American, Russian, Chinese, Catholic, Protestant, Hebrew, Muslim, Atheist, etc, etc, etc.

Harper's Magazine
ran a great article back in 1941 entitled "Who Goes Nazi?" Liberals are creatures fixated on stature and reputation, so given the right conditions, almost all of you would join the National Socialist movementL

It is an interesting and somewhat macabre parlor game to play at a large gathering of one’s acquaintances: to speculate who in a showdown would go Nazi. By now, I think I know. I have gone through the experience many times—in Germany, in Austria, and in France. I have come to know the types: the born Nazis, the Nazis whom democracy itself has created, the certain-to-be fellow-travelers. And I also know those who never, under any conceivable circumstances, would become Nazis. . . .

Nazism has nothing to do with race and nationality. It appeals to a certain type of mind. . . .

At any rate, let us look round the room.

The gentleman standing beside the fireplace with an almost untouched glass of whiskey beside him on the mantelpiece is Mr. A, a descendant of one of the great American families. There has never been an American Blue Book without several persons of his surname in it. He is poor and earns his living as an editor. He has had a classical education, has a sound and cultivated taste in literature, painting, and music; has not a touch of snobbery in him; is full of humor, courtesy, and wit. He was a lieutenant in the World War, is a Republican in politics, but voted twice for Roosevelt, last time for Willkie. He is modest, not particularly brilliant, a staunch friend, and a man who greatly enjoys the company of pretty and witty women. His wife, whom he adored, is dead, and he will never remarry.

He has never attracted any attention because of outstanding bravery. But I will put my hand in the fire that nothing on earth could ever make him a Nazi. He would greatly dislike fighting them, but they could never convert him. . . . Why not?

Beside him stands Mr. B, a man of his own class, graduate of the same preparatory school and university, rich, a sportsman, owner of a famous racing stable, vice-president of a bank, married to a well-known society belle. He is a good fellow and extremely popular. But if America were going Nazi he would certainly join up, and early. Why? . . . Why the one and not the other?

Mr. A has a life that is established according to a certain form of personal behavior. Although he has no money, his unostentatious distinction and education have always assured him a position. He has never been engaged in sharp competition. He is a free man. I doubt whether ever in his life he has done anything he did not want to do or anything that was against his code. Nazism wouldn’t fit in with his standards and he has never become accustomed to making concessions.

Mr. B has risen beyond his real abilities by virtue of health, good looks, and being a good mixer. He married for money and he has done lots of other things for money. His code is not his own; it is that of his class—no worse, no better, He fits easily into whatever pattern is successful. That is his sole measure of value—success. Nazism as a minority movement would not attract him. As a movement likely to attain power, it would. . . .
Look at the people arguing against social convention in this thread. We can't be cowed by you doctrinaire liberals who say all the right things in order to belong to your group. You guys couldn't hold an original idea in opposition to your liberal friends if your life depended on it.
Biggest bunch of bull shit I've ever read but hey, if it justifies your ideology.......

I understand why you'd find it uncomfortable to see yourself going Nazi - you fit the archtype to a tee.

has shootspeeders or steve_mcgarrett EVER added anything of substance to this board? Anyone?
I'm still looking around to see if you've actually written anything intelligent in all your years on this forum.

Rikurzhen, obviously you and the author of that 1941 article have absolutely no idea how many personal internal and external factors would have to come into play to make it even remotely true. Granted, about 2 percent of any population would fit that profile but not all of them are rich and pampered, matter of fact history, psychology and sociology all show most would not come from a position of wealth and privilege or hold a specifically liberal or conservative ideal though most would come from an extreme reactionary mindset, like yourself.
Take off the blinders and expand your horizons, if you even can, you'll be amazed at how the vast majority of people and the world really are and they're nothing like you invision.

Look at how many liberals have contorted their moral compass in order to acclaim the extinguishment of the right to free association. They actually hold it to be a good moral position to force people into involuntary associations. What matters, as that long ago author noted, was the reigning power structure. Liberals rarely buck their comrades - they don't want to stand up and be condemned. You take that mindset and plop it into a Nazi universe and you find all sorts of Nazis coming out of the woodwork, because the situation has tapped into the liberal core - the need to feel enlightened, the need to be above others, the need to feel superior. Go and find me a liberal who believes that conservatives are smarter than liberals, than him even. Such a liberal is a very rare beast.

Ya know the leftists and radical right (not true liberals or true conservatives) feel exactly the way you do and both of you draw the same conclusions. Funny how pathetically telling that is.

Is there a bit of polka dot in that?
