Rand Paul Blocks $40 Billion Aid Package to Ukraine - Mitch and Schumer both ANGRY

And Rand Paul was already informed a separate amendment vote on the addition could happen and would pass. Instead he chose to wait until the last second and refuse that option, with the goal of delaying the bill and feeding some numbnuts theatrics to his Kentucky base.

So you can stop thinking the IG was the reason he did what he did.
I have little trust of anyone in Congress at this point. Therefore when our nation starts passing out big aid packages to anyone I would prefer to have some oversight in how the money is spent.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Hunter Biden and John Kerry’s stepson end up with some sort of a corrupt deal in Ukraine. They have worked together in the past selling influence.

Comrade much?
". . . A new package of American aid for Ukraine,[57] more than 30 billion dollars, is already prepared, according to the lend-lease principle that was used during the Second World War. Under this new tranche of aid, more than fifteen billion dollars will be spent for military purposes. Moreover, if you follow the process of creating this act, you can see that it was introduced into the Senate procedure[58] on January 19, 2022, that is, 15 billion dollars for Kiev in the form of American military equipment was planned at least a month before the Russian operation.. .. "

I was astounded by reading this. . . if true, this means the CIA's plan, along with the Neo-Nazi Ukrainian SBU intelligence, and Azov unit's plan to provoke a Russian invasion, were, well on their way to being a success, and were totally expected. Congress was authorizing plans to spend billions for this war, even before Russia invaded? Seriously?

:dunno:

So I had to check this out. . .

Congress reaches deal on $40B Ukraine package

"Congressional leaders struck a deal Monday to send $39.8 billion in military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine that could be taken up by the House as soon as Tuesday, Axios has learned.

Why it matters: The deal, which is billions more than the $33 billion the White House initially requested, is slated for quick passage after Democrats agreed to drop a key priority: separating the Ukraine aid from roughly $10 billion in funding for the coronavirus pandemic.. . . "

And wouldn't you know it? Indeed, the president HAS already signed off on sending the aid. . . when?

January FUCKING 19th!!!!

You gotta be kidding me?!!! :sigh2:

So? That ought to thrill you, eh JimH52 Nazi Kamerad!

The only thing standing between Vladimir Putin and his delusions of grandeur is the military and other aid from the free world.
awsome. So....where is the 120 Billion us dollars from the rest of the free world to match *our* 40 billion contribution? [crickets]

That struck me as well: Sleepy Joe already spent the money, even though congress's approval (should have been) required.

Serious Fraud alert.

Can we get our money back, uncle joe?

I must have missed the treaty requiring the rest of the free world to match our foreign military aid.

Can you cite it for us?

Common Sense? Equality?

Hey, I am definitely all for helping Ukraine. I see no traction to any of the communist Russian claims about "Nazism", before 2014 or after. I would volunteer to go myself if I wasn't so old, slow, and fat. Plus the fact that we may need people here willing and able to defend our land...

But why is USA the sole defender of freedom? Why can't other countries help also? We are not as rich as many think. Many still just survive. There are hungry people just down the street from me: they are too proud to ask for help, and I refuse to intrude on their life (<= this is called freedom )

And besides that, you are missing the point: these ass h*les are milking our economy. Almost NONE of the proposed "package" was going to go to the people of Ukraine to help them: it is ALL going into the back pockets of well placed socialist mafia, waiting with their bank codes and laptops ready to hit the transfer key to move the funds into their socialist mafia accounts. Did you ever hear about Hunter BIden's Laptop? Just for instance. I'm sorry, but that sort of shit is real, and I hate to break your virgin ass ears with this news. I've seen it with my own eyes.
