Rand Paul warns Texas could turn Blue

Texas will turn blue. Demographics dictates that. The GOP has many good people trying to turn the party away from the hateful demogoguery of the last decade, but that is going to take time, and they don't have that time.

Everyone points to the Hispanic vote as the reason Texas will turn blue. The tide has turned and it will be difficult to get that vote back

But just as important is the number of people Texas is drawing from other states. Tech and energy jobs are drawing people to Texas. Those people will not change parties just because they now live in Texas. They will bring their political beliefs with them

This is a interesting premise many people moving to Texas are doing so because the economy and job outlook in their home state is poor you seem to be suggesting that those coming here and not changing their political beliefs are Democrat which may not be the case. But lets say the majority are Democrats and coming from blue states why would you want to come to a state that is good on the economic and job front and try and transform it into a replica of what you left?

As to Florida---if the jews in miami ever wake up and realize that the dems hate israel, business, and most things jewish, Florida has no chance of turning blue.

I have never understood why jews vote for a party that hates them.

Are you saying that the Jews are as stupid as the Blacks?

I don't recall saying anyone was stupid.

It is generally assumed by the right that Blacks do not know who is really good for them. You appear to be saying the same about Jews. Do Jews vote Democrat to get free stuff?

Just wait until Hillary chooses Julian Castro as her running mate in 2016. The Republican candidate may still win Texas, but the state is going to be in play and it will be very close. Any Republican candidate will have to spend a great deal of time and money in the state if they want to hold on to it. When Texas finally turns blue, the White House will become practically unattainable for Republicans. I'm not actually sure that will be a great thing, but that does seem to be where we are headed.
