Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has surged back into a single-digit deficit behind former Vice President Joe Biden in a poll of the Democratic primary field.

Sanders trails Biden by 9 percentage points in a Reuters/Ipsos poll released Tuesday, just one week after trailing the former vice president by 21 points in the same poll.

The Vermont senator sits at 39 percent among registered Democratic voters in the poll, compared to 48 percent for Biden. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii), the only other high-profile Democratic contender remaining in the race, sat at 2 percent in the poll.

Sanders is hoping for a resurgence in the primary after a damaging series of losses to Biden in South Carolina, ten states voting on Super Tuesday and then in Michigan last week. He now trails Biden by about 150 pledged delegates.

Three states are holding contests on Tuesday, with Biden favored in all three. But the coronavirus crisis gripping the country has added some uncertainty to the contests ahead. Ohio was also scheduled to hold a primary on Tuesday, but it was postponed due to worries about coronavirus.

The DNC will NEVER let Bernie win. Its over.
They may not even need to use the super-delegates.
We'll see how the vote goes today in FL, AZ & IL

Maybe people are telling themselves......"you know, maybe we do need health care".

ahhhhhh oooooo no one left to drop out and endorse Biden....

Maybe people are telling themselves......"you know, maybe we do need health care".
Not with everyone working and getting employer based insurance...and the dems want to take that away...no way do people vote for that and no way do we believe that we can keep our doctor and our plans....we will not believe that lie a second time....

The Democrat part of the duopoly doesn't have much to lose. They might as well have a little audacity and run Sanders for a clear alternative.
Does anyone think he would win, anyway?

Economist/YouGov 3/8 - 3/10 573 RV 53 38 2 Biden +15

This is why we use averages. Clearly the Reuters/Ipsos poll is a outlier.

There is some certainty in this election.
"
In 2016, 81 percent of Democrats in Arizona cast their ballots ahead of the election. So far this year, the state has already received more Democratic ballots than it did four years ago. Alone, that’s enough to significantly insulate the state from the effects of the coronavirus.

Florida also has extensive in-person and early voting. Nearly one million Democrats have already voted there, or about 55 percent of the total turnout from the 2016 Democratic primary. Early voters tend to be older in Florida as well. In 2016, of those between 18 and 24 who voted, 62 percent voted on Election Day. That’s compared with just 39 percent of voters over age 65 who did so, according to an analysis by Matthew Isbell, a Democratic political consultant in Florida."

That suggests that Sanders will be steamrollered in Florida and Arizona. Florida will be the killer as that is the largest state with 219 delegates and the question is whether Sanders will meet the 33% he got in 2016.

But you'll continue to believe Trump's lies?

Trump's pathetic assertion that he'll deport millions of immigrants should fool no one (opinion) - CNN

An estimate of 1.8 to 2.6 Americans lost their individual health care insurance, while fewer lost their doctor on all estimates, and about 15 plus million or so the first year gained insurance, through the exchange, expanded MEDICAID, through their employer's mandate, or by being added to their parent's insurance because they were 25 and under, all due to these ACA provisions...

It's horrible some did lose their doctor or plan on these individual insurance plans that were created for the individual's need, like some may have only covered hospitalization, or had an insurance maximum payout limit, etc... but were forced to cover all the basics, like physicals, and tests required, and prescription drugs, etc with no caps on maximum payout etc.... all good things for actual health care for the individual, but costly!
