At 7PM GA time, GA will execute Willie Pye. Pye murdered an ex girlfriend. Now he wants to live.

Goodbye Willie.

Three decades ago. Unreal , should have been shot right after convicted. But I'm sure Democrats wouldn't allow it. Biggest threat to America and Americans is the Democrats.

It looks like they feed them pretty well on death row in the Georgia penal system. I could see providing a lot of food to guys doing chain gang detail, but for a guy on Death Row? These guys should be limited to 1200 calories a day, then the state could save money as fewer drugs would be needed to ice them when the day comes.

The Eighth Amendment (Amendment VIII) to the United States Constitution protects against imposing excessive bail, excessive fines, or cruel and unusual punishments.
Just a few questions for you:

Will his execution make the community safer and serve as a deterrent for violent crime?

Will his execution undo the crime?

Will his execution bring closure to the victim’s family and if so, could that end have been achieved decades sooner had he just been locked away and forgotten back then.?

Does capital punishment add to the sum total of violence

How does the case study-ineffective council justify killing him now?

How is his life story of depravation and abuse, not a sufficient mitigating factor that should exempt him form bring ritualistically murdered by the state

Is there any justification for killing him other that pure blood thursty revenge , and what dooes that say about us as a society?

Lastly , how fucken depraved and sadistic are you to be so gleeful about the killing of a human being ?

people like him are a cancer, best removed.

His actions decided his fate. not a judge, nor a jury.

You are forgetting some other factors. What danger does this criminal pose to the community? No breachproof prison has ever been built and ever will be. And even if he doesn't get out, he poses a tremendous risk to employees of the penal system as well as his fellow inmates.

Another is the idea of deterrence. The realization that a seat in the electric chair awaits you if you commit a serious enough crime can easily deter sane people from committing such acts.
