One of my hobbies is sim racing, mostly via iRacing, an online service that puts on races between real drivers, competing remotely:

It's pretty interesting. Unlike most eSports, the racing stuff translates pretty directly to the real thing. Several pro sim racers have made the jump to real cars, and lots of real drivers are putting in practice laps in their sim rigs.

I do flight sims and that is as close to real as it can get without the recirc air!
