We export certain grades. but it is cheaper to import Saudi oil to the East Coast for gasoline.

In many ways, US oil is the safety valve for the industry. as the world’s high cost producer, it has been the standard practice for US oil production to fall when world prices drop.

Anyone who still believes that fracking is going to produce cheap oil should have learned better by now.
