Since he is ever increasing his military presence in Syria and pushing for regime change in Venezuela, his bring the troops home fairy tale is not credible. It looks rather like he is joining a Sunni extremist alliance to maintain hegemony. On balance he is pursuing countries, peoples, that never did any harm to the US, while leaving terrorists alone.
