I can remember being in 9th grade. I was over a friend's house and in their bathroom a Playboy mag was in the basket with other mags. I guess his dad liked to read the stories as he did his business. Should he be arrested? No. Is it something I would do? Absolutely not.

I had a teacher in 6th grade that allowed us to listen to Cheech and Chong. I'm sure there are those out there that would think she should have been arrested.

It was mentioned earlier that with some everything has to be a moral crises. It's not a crises.

As I said. Appropriate for a middle school student? No. The school should not be the source for this material. It's all stuff available to any student with a cell phone or internet access though.

I hope the parents had a discussion with their kid. If they are seeking this info, there could be a reason.

A teacher doing it is exponentially worse. The teacher has a built in trust factor with the minor. They are also an authority figure in that minor's life. We should expect children to respect their teachers and what they say. It's why what teachers are saying in the classroom is so important.

What do you disagree with though? It's 100% illegal to distribute sexually explicit material to minors. You will be arrested if you're caught doing so. So you disagree that teachers hold a special position of trust? That they should be respected by their students? That they are in authority over students? That their students will take what they say more to heart than some stranger on the street? That it's important what our teachers are saying to and around our students? Which one of those things do you disagree with? Or do you disagree with all of them?

This is insane. A teacher assigned “This Book is Gay” to her middle school kids to read.. here are some Examples from the book:

“gay men have slightly longer and thicker winkies. Excellent.”

“sliding your mouth up and down the shaft of his c***.”

It provides advice on how to provide a “A GOOD HANDIE” instead of “A BAD HANDIE.”

It explains that “sex doesn’t begin and end with your d***. Be creative.”

It promotes the ease and convenience of sex apps, noting that “the app works out your location” by itself and that “because they are near, it is easy to meet up with them.”

Its glossary provides the much-needed definitions for the sexual terms for eating poop and peeing on/being peed on by others.

The articles don’t refer to any of the content that’s in the book. They make the immoral teacher into a poor victim of mean intolerant parents. However, in reality, it was heroic teachers exposing a perverse teacher who is sharing sexual, explicit, inappropriate content with children.

'Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor' is a crime.

Every state has laws on the books to protect children, and acts like this, exposing children to porn and such sexually explicit books are violations of these laws.

Democrats / the teachers' unions have chosen to ignore these laws -

Good for the parents for filing criminal complaints with the police.

Perhaps when enough teachers and principals get arrested things will change.

Before that happens, though, I am sure Garland will step in and order the police NOT to enforce these laws.
