I'm glad it's gone. It's annoying...elchorizo what happened to auto refresh??
You can't. The forum software issued an update that addressed several serious security issues. The previous skins are no longer compatible because of that. How do you change it back, I hate it.
it could be turned off,,I'm glad it's gone. It's annoying...
the white skin is hard to look at but the black skin is hard to tell what was read or not
I wonder what the visuals have to do with security updates. You can't. The forum software issued an update that addressed several serious security issues. The previous skins are no longer compatible because of that.
it isnt a deal breaker just makes checking new threads a little more challenging

crepitus is in another thread claiming he can go back to old style and then links to the white version of this
well, this reply will only answer questions until the next page and the jerks that don't read threads will be saying WHYWe don't run the stock "skin" -- we've run paid skins that are modified since the beginning of the forum. The stock skin is pretty plain, you can view it here: XenForo community
So that means, we are reliant on the person that creates the paid skin to do updates and releases for the skin. In addition, we add a bunch of functionality via add-ons. Many of the features we run on this site don't exist in the stock software.... features that you guys want. So, we also rely on authors to make those add-ons and we have to massage them often to make them work with the skins that we are running.
Every time the add-on is updated, it has to be fixed to work with the new software and the new skin.
Every time an update for the software is released to either fix a security hole, a bug, or to add a new feature, repeat this process.
It's a lot of work, it's a lot of tracking down bugs and fixing them. It's not a "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" type thing like people love to say.
That process, with multiple skins, over and over throughout the year ends up being a pretty big task to keep up with. Hope this helps everyone understand.
