Texas House Bans THC

Based on your comments, I think you need to go read the article in the link you posted.

It doesn't say what you seem to think it does.

It only bans 'hemp derived' THC.

We have both medical and recreational marijuana sales in Arizona, and we have the same kind of law banning hemp derived THC.
odd because hemp has almost no THC so equal to blood from a stone. it would take a massive amount of time and effort to extract such a small quantity. help is great for rope, cloths biofuel and wood pulp but it's not taking off as much as they hoped, yet even though it's been deregulated

Every block in town has one of those shops in it. I can't see how they can have enough customers to stay open.
Same here in New Mexico. After it was decriminalized about two years ago these dispensaries sprouted up literally like weeds.
In a city of only 110,000 I'll bet we have 70 pot shops.
I've only seen one of them have to fold so far and from what I'm hearing they are pumping quite a lot of revenue into the state coffer.

As I understand the process, hemp contains THCa. Using some type of chemical process, this can be used to synthesize THC∆8 and THC∆9.
I have seen THC∆8 in it's refined form. It is a light colored powder, greyish white. It bears no resemblance to hemp in its natural form. I grew a couple acres of hemp one year before the market collapsed. That is what I sold them was turned in to. They wanted the hemp dried, in 50 pound units. I am guessing it takes a lot.
In it's raw form the hemp would not get you high, even the scissor hash was non-intoxicating. I didn't try the finished product, so I can't attest to the results of that. At the time the processor I sold to was the best offer I had for my crop.

They can’t.
All legalization did was to enhance the black market. No one is concerned about getting popped for pot possession so now they can sell without worry.
Here in Arizona, it drove prices so low it isn't worth the risk of a black market. Dealing in cannabis in any form with the proper license and permits is still a felony here. In fact, in my county, the bootleg growers are given to the feds for prosecution under federal law.
The prices dropped so low that I don't grow any for sale any longer, just personal use. For the past four years I have supplied 4 people, now 3. (One died). No, I don't charge them. I get enough yield for all of us from the plants I am legally allowed to grow for myself.
I used to grow for a couple dispensaries. When Arizona started the medical marijuana program, I operated a dispensary. After the 3 years I was required to keep it in the location the state mandated, I closed down and sold the dispensary license and the new owner moved it to Scottsdale. I continued to grow commercially for 3 more years. Then the price fell so low it isn't worth my time.
Still, in Arizona it is not worth the risk to engage in black market activities. It may be different in other states. I know of a few p that used to operate legally that now transport their harvests to states where there is no legal market. That doesn't sound like it's worth the risk to me either. But apparently some folks think it is because they are doing it .
I also know of one person who switched to growing poppies, and selling the opium. I am not interested in that activity either.

its regulated pretty good here in vegas....

It’s true with black market is still strong because there’s no taxes on their product. But honestly, I don’t give a shit either way as long as it like cigarettes and booze you have to be a certain age to buy I have no opinion on the issue anymore.

I don't know, I think getting stoned should be mandatory once a day past your 18th birthday...maybe some of these people wouldn't have a stick up their ass all the time.....

Just sayin....

A step toward sanity and safety.
Pot advocates are dangerously stuck in 1970.
THC can cause mental illness, etc., and has no use beyond intoxication. It’s not medicine. If it was, it would require FDA approval which would require adverse side effects listing. Pot advocates and dealers won’t want that.

Close all the bars and liquor stores. More people die of alcohol-related causes every year.

Nope. Stolen from me.

I am still VERY motivated and ambitious. I know how this country works though. They steal peoples lives and passions so they can make more money than they could ever earn in the competitive free market.

G-d will judge them. Americans should help many of us, you'd dominate even more on the global stage.
Its too bad you can't drink something that cures rampant paranoia. You desperately need it.

every block?....its legal here in vegas and they are not on every block......were the hell do you people live?...
The land of the free man!
I just looked up the stats for my area. My little city encompasses 74 square miles......and we have 76 dispensaries!:eek:

Why on earth would anyone go to the “black market” for THC products?

The market is completely saturated, there’s totally legal stores all over the place. And the stuff is super cheap. You can buy a bag of THC gummies for less than you can a bag of actual candy at the supermarket
