Well of course it is. EVERYTHING is racist and we're all oppressed and offended. Sheesh.

These college kids are going to need years of deprograming after they leave the liberal indoctrination centers and join the workforce and reality.

Campus Reform Reporter Asks University of Oregon Students If Thanksgiving Is Racist

The University of Oregon marked the lead up to Thanksgiving with an event aimed at “decolonizing” the holiday, which the university labeled as a "celebration" of "ongoing genocide." The event, titled "Thanks But No Thanks-giving," was supported by some students, but others weren't fully on board with the message the event communicated.

The European settlers were just another group of people who moved to western hemisphere. They didn’t come here to murder the natives. At that time there were no elected governments. There were no immigration laws. When the Left accuses Europeans of genocide it’s just another crazy liberal bigot dog whistle.

Good! I am celebrating everything that is racist today! The Pilgrims, Indians, Columbus, Confederate Statues, White People...…….

I got here a bit late. Which moron said the Indians were not at the first Thanksgiving?

Actually, I believe Elizabeth Warren was at Thanksgiving. So at least the Pilgrims had 1/1024 Indian representation.

My great-grampa was in the Donner Party....maybe that's why I eat both of the turkey's legs right off the bat. :dunno:

You can’t rewrite history, snowflake

Thanksgiving may be America’s most beloved national holiday, but its history is all over the place. Even the details of the famous feast between the Plymouth Colony settlers and the Wampanoag Indians in November of 1621 are sketchy. The best account we have is a letter from English settler Edward Winslow that never mentions the word “Thanksgiving,” but tells of a weeklong harvest celebration that included a three-day celebration with King Massasoit and 90 Wampanoag men “so we might after a more special manner rejoice together.”

Over the centuries, that briefly-mentioned feast week has taken on a life of its own, with each generation adding its own take on the fall tradition. We’ve pulled together some little-known trivia so you have something to talk about (other than politics) around the Thanksgiving dinner table this November.
