The French novelist Jean Raspail died. He took resolute stand against 3rd World immigration, condemned communism & capitalism 2 monstrous modern twins

I have never heard of him, but I am guessing that he was a prominent novelist in France.

I have read that artists (like writers) are very respected in France.

I guess that he carefully expressed his views, for I have read that France has strong laws that forbid certain kinds of criticism of various nationalities.

The actress Brigitte Bardot, for example, has been fined several times for her criticism of a certain religion.

I assume that no prominent American novelist would ever dare write an acerbic anti-immigration novel.
