the greatest tv series ever

Will "The Equalizer" with Denzel as Robert McCall SUCK???

  • Bet it will, yeah. Look what Nic Cage in 2006 did to the protagonist role in "The Wicker Man".

How the heck does Columbia Pictures think it can possibly replicate ^ that ^ at the movie theatre this summer?????

I didn't know a movie based on that was planned.
I watched the series starring Edward Woodward when it was on tv in the 80's.
It was great !

I don't think Denzel will do a bad job with the part, but I won't be able to keep from comparing it to the series.

WTF?

I thought this was about the best TV series ever.

LOST!
I've enjoyed so many TV series it's hard to pin a star on any one. In fact, HBO just ran the full series of Deadwood, a truly great production. I recorded it and I'm watching the episodes back-to-back this week and really enjoying it. I hope they will do this will all their series.

Original Star Trek

Firefly

Mission Impossible

The Twilight Zone

MASH

I LOVED Wiseguy!

And speaking of best TV series of all time, one of the 'arcs' in Wiseguy featured Oscar winner Kevin Spacey (Netflix' House of Cards') as a mad evil businessman, Mel Profitt, who had a thing for his sister, the stunningly beautiful and sexy, Joan Severance.

Whattya know?

I found the pilot episode on YouTube.

Enjoy.

nothing beats the original star trek. The imposter spin offs all failed mierably to capture the magic of that show.

and oh yeah,The Twilight Zone.that rules.

as far as the the topic goes, yeah it will suck, spin offs and remakes always do.Footloose the prime example of why a remake should NEVER be done for movies. That is so true that cages wicker man was just plain terrible.hollywood always feels like they have to try and reinvent the wheel with remakes. they have clearly run out of fresh ideas.
