This is the inevitable course of any culture that abandons the serious pursuit of our theological origins and the moral duties thereof..
The first two films of the Dark Knight Trilogy, especially the second, are brilliant adult films. In fact, The Dark Knight (2008), in my opinion, should have been nominated for best picture by the Academy. These films appealed to me because of the acting, writing, cinematography and direction. I've seen two or three of the other movies of this genre that I thought might be of at least similar quality, but. . . . I needed only to see the trailer of the others to know the story on them, so I didn't waste my time. I haven't seen The Black Panther, which was nominated for best picture, but the trailer and story line struck me as the same ol' trash.
