Jimmy kimmel has been making an ass of himself.....trying to attack Republicans who are trying to fix the healthcare mess created by obama and obamacare....a system he passed in order to destroy the U.S. private healthcare industry so that hilary could take over healthcare with a single payer system.

So...since jimmy kimmel will obviously want to fund his healthcare system...where everyone gets covered for free.....we will pass what we will call the Kimmel Tax......

This tax will be this...all left wing entertainers and athletes who get million dollar salaries or higher....jimmy kimmel is a 1 percenter.......will face a mandatory tax rate which will confiscate all salary and accumulated wealth to the extent it will leave said left wing entertainer and athlete with an income of no more than 250,000 dollars, and a wealth cap of no more than 250,000 dollars....and monies in excess of these taxes and caps will go toward the jimmy kimmel healthcare initiative.......

Also....left wing entertainers and athletes will also be stripped of any and all high end, middle level healthcare plans they may currently have...and be placed on the lowest level of obamacare coverage in perpetuity.....regardless of any reforms the Republicans will make in the future.....

That should cover all of the people who do not have healthcare and who need medical attention.....

Thank you jimmy kimmel for your self sacrifice on behalf of America...

He had that guy on from my state. I thought he did pretty good, saying that yea healthcare for all sounds great, but we have to try to pay for it.

Yeah...that is the rub..isn't it? That is why I am sure jimmy kimmel will support my Jimmy Kimmel tax concept......since he is so self less and willing to give his all for the needy....

New, not a new Jimmy Kimmel Tax, a "free healthcare for me, bonus debt for everyones grandkids to repay" provision.

As I said yesterday, there is no easy answer to this.

WTF is wrong with Kimmel?

Expecting little kids to be covered when they are sick?

Doesn't the moron know that healthcare is only for those who can afford it?

No...he is just saying what everyone understands and believes....and to show he is a man who puts his money where his big mouth is.....the Kimmel Tax will help...

See this is where the right are always being "guilted", unfairly too.

In Ontario, we have $310B in debt for 14M population. A third of the population of California, double their debt, a fraction of their economic activity. It won't stop, you know why? It buys votes. We already have had two decreases on our debt rating, which makes repayment even more expensive.

Now, who is going to be rationale in all of this? Is this sustainable for the next 25 years? 50 years?

Now, I am a big proponent of healthcare and I believe all should have access to some form. I am not supportive of single payer systems. I am a supporter of all processes of broad support, from donations (such as St. Judes Hospital, God Bless them), volunteer hospitals with doctors and staff willing to give their time to do so either for free, or very cheaply. Yes, I do believe in some form of public support, but it can't be excessive to the point of it bankrupting the system.

Furthermore, there needs to be a major focus on prevention. There is such a campaign against smoking, but where is campaign against obesity? Michelle Obamas desire to work on getting kids active again was a virtuous campaign, purely out of a desire to better the lives of kids and in doing so actually lowering the systems demands. That was an honourable initiative by her and she deserves credit for this. Such initiatives should be taking place in all states.

In the end, healthcare is expensive, excessively so in some cases. To the point that at it's current cost it's impossible for the a single payer system in America. It is contributing to the strain on all socialist countries. Simply stating the facts doesn't make me a mean or uncaring person. Not acknowledging the difficult issues involved and throwing out "everyone should get everything" is far more insensitive.

All of the single payer systems across the world are collapsing...they cost too much and don't provide anywhere near the service they promise....

We need a Conservative tax which forces Conservatives to spend a week with a family of a young child who is suffering

Saving lives costs money
It comes down to the priorities of a society
Is it projecting your power and influence around the globe or taking care of your own citizens

People should not suffer because they cannot afford healthcare. People should not go broke because they had the misfortune of becoming sick. People should not be punished because they have a pre-existing condition

You know nothing about conservatives......studies show they give more time and money to help the needy than left wing assholes like you do......

Yes...saving lives costs money.......wow...you are a genius...how long did it take you to figure that out...?

That is why I support the Jimmy Kimmel Tax.......he and other left wing 1 percenters will be allowed to keep 250,000 dollars....of his current 10 million dollar salary, and 250,000 dollars of his current 35 million dollar net worth....

That should help to "save lives" right? He should be okay with that...right?

After all....asswipe, left wingers always say that if a small business can't pay 15 dollars an hour to their employees....then they deserve to go out of business..right?

So if jimmy "one percenter" kimmel, can't live on 250,000 dollars a year .....reading jokes someone else writes and interviewing a couple of 1 percenter celebrities for 35 minutes.....then he deserves to lose his job...right?

Actually....NO

Studies do not show that. They show conservatives contribute to their churches. Not that the money goes to help the needy

Your response is all over the place

Helping people who need help comes down to national policy not the contributions of a small few

Minimum wage has nothing to do with it

Not having healthcare destroys families. It needs to be a priority of our society....even more than guns

But kimmel made the ass out of himself....saying that Republicans don't care about sick people...so he should show how much he actually cares and pay the tax....

Conservatives do both, they contribute money to charities, their churches and they also give their time.....something the left wing only gives when it comes to filling mass graves.

A man who advocates healthcare for infants made an ass out of himself?

What in Trumpcare will ensure coverage for Jimmy Kimmels son for the rest of his life?

Republicans showed us they even hate children. Only the fetus they want to "save". And the real reason they are to happy to defend the fetus is because it's a disguised attack on women right.

Why do Republicans feel so entitled? How many even have a full set of teeth?
