Today the Senate gave the ok to a bill offering fines up to $10,000 for posting a “No Guns” sign.

It’s A Bad Day To Be Moms Demand In Texas

The pro gun movement is steam rolling everything in it’s path. Open carry with a valid CHL is racing through the Texas capital with very little resistance. Now today we learn that Texas legislators are moving forward on two more gun bills, which secure the freedom of it’s law abiding citizens to keep and bear arms in the lone star state.

The Texas Senate voted Wednesday with a overwhelming majority to allow campus carry. “Our CHL holders are the most law-abiding members of our society,” said Sen. Brian Birdwell of Granbury. “The right to self-preservation is what the Second Amendment and Article 1, Section 23 are about.” - ABC13

Of course ABC writes as though there was heavy opposition. One senator and two students does not qualify as heavy opposition in my book. Not in comparison to the thousands who have protested in favor of open and campus carry in the Lone Star State. All the bloody T-Shirt waving in the world was not going to stop it. Irrational fear with few actual facts is not pulling the wool of the eyes of this legislature. We expect the final floor vote to leave the Senate on Thursday.

Thanks for not using a "blows away the opposition" metaphor. :)

What a ridiculous website, BuzzPo. You have to answer a survey in order to see the content. That's phishing. And certainly not the sign of a credible news agency. It's just another fucking blog.
