My friend saw it, he said it was a pretty good movie. He DOES like pretty much ALL Sci-Fi or Fantasy films he sees.

Not really. I think they borrowed the Creature From The Black Lagoon costume and added a bit of the fish guy from HellBoy for extra UMPH.
It truly sucked and was quite poorly done.
