• Social Security Retirement
• Social Security Disability (workers long enough to pay into the system and become disabled)
• Supplemental Disability (disabled people that can't work)
• Social Security Survivor Benefits (a worker dies and has paid into SS to help raise children)

In fact, the SS Fairness Act passed and was signed into law very late in Biden's term. At that time, SS said it would take a year or so to get the new payments and retroactive payments to those who benefited from the passage of that bill. Then Trump was sworn in, those updates were automated, likely by the DOGE team, and those retroactive payments have gone out and the new higher benefits are underway for that group - in just a couple months.
