Around 40 people were held in torture chambers during the occupation and subjected to various forms of violence, including electrocution, beatings, and mutilation. One of those arrested (because he had a picture of his brother in a Ukrainian army uniform in his home) and tortured reported hearing screams through the walls. At least several Ukrainian prisoners died as a result of the torture. Aleksander Kulik, head of the information department of the Derhachi city council, stated that several young women were subjected to gang rapes that lasted for several days.

And yes, there are more chances that Russians will take Heilongjiang than that Chinese will take Amur's oblast. Actually, some people already call Manchuria "Yellow Russia".

It is. As well as attempt to back down the USA to the borders of 1820 and further "total decolonisation of North America".
From the Russian point of view, its much better (or it is lesser evil) to lost up to 20 mln Russians in war, but save Russia with the rest of population.

But he also realizes that if he gives up everything, he will be no more needed than those afghans, who clung to the landing gear of departing American planes. He's trying to play it cool, and so far, thinly, he's succeeding.
It turns out that grandpa Trump scolds great-grandpa Biden for the fact that the clever Zelensky wraped him aroun his finger, but in reality he finds himself in the same situation.
However, the head of the Kiev regime is still in the role of a poor man from a grim anecdote, who fell from a skyscraper, answering the question “How are you doing?” thrown from the window, he replied “Fine! Feels like flying!”

That was good thinking during the Second World War when Germany invaded Russia.
Russia invaded Ukraine. Putin, and Russians who support him, need to learn that national greatness is not achieved by conquering countries that want to be independent. National greatness comes from having a high standard of living, a low crime rate, and a well functioning government. The Germans and the Japanese are better off now than when they were winning World War II.
