The mismanagement of everything in California was really exposed by the LA FIRES over the past week.
Not all of it falls directly on the office of the Governor, but certainly much of it does.
This will be tough for Newsom to defend when he tries to be President in 2028.
He will not be able to point fingers to anyone but maybe the LA Mayor or the LAFD Fire Chief. Both are protected classes and cannot be criticized by a rich white male without significant backlash.
How should Newsom handle the aftermath of the fires to protect his 2028 POTUS bid?
It's really hard for me to believe that someone like Newsom feels empowered to even think about running for president, and especially after caving to everything he has caved to in a bid to go along to get along by going against the grain of society.
This nation is truly sick, otherwise in the sense that people feel empowered to seize opportunity by way of their A-kissing and baiting as a method of gaining or seizing power these day's.
It's time we get back to practicing merit and character reading that goes along with that merit or action reviews.
Thinking that people qualify for anything, and it being based upon their sexual preferences or lifestyles that should be privately practiced within the confines of their own bedrooms or it being based upon one's gender or upon one's skin color is truly a detriment to civilized society.
Character and merit are the only two thing's that matter in life, and the other's mentioned should not matter. Period !!!
Not to say that every human being needs a government decided level of education in order to qualify for every job out there, because the criteria in each category along with the fact that people are sometimes (on many occasions), born with a higher adaptable intelligence in life should always be considered as a plus with no shame on a companies part for recognizing this attribute in people.
When this is the case then it eliminates the need for scrutiny or the jumping through a governmental standardized hoop just to participate or qualify in the job markets.
Sex, gender, and color have absolutely no bearing on the determination of a person qualifying for a job. FACT !!!
Stick with the basics of an applicants job history, skills, merit, and character in order for the workforce to thrive and be productive.
Companies have to be given back the freedom of determining whether a human being qualifies or not, and this is based upon the job title or description when interviewing, and not based upon the individual checking woke or discriminatory boxes laid out in the application process.
No boxes should be included on the application for the purpose of social engineering society by empowering individual's with paychecks afterwards in which they don't or may not deserve, otherwise sadly these days a company ends up with the employee riding each week's paycheck (not applying oneself or not unifying as a team player), by not contributing to the job as they were supposed to be required to do, and it's all because they think that they have special status or privileges when hired or worse having the government backing such crazyness up the way that it has been a party to for too long now as well.
You cannot create special classes of people that feel as if their preferential treatment somehow allows them to not contribute to the task at hand, but instead uses their special status given against a company when it attempts to get them to pull their weight equally in their positions granted.
