1792 was the second election. Adams basically coasted to reelection as Veep.
Thank you for this correction ... the Free Press chose Washington in 1788, same as today's "Lil' Girl" Harris ... would it be better for Charles III to decide what can be published or not? ...
There were ten elections for President ... and ten Presidents of the "united States" [sic] before our current Constitution was ratified in 1789 ... albeit these Presidents under the Articles of Confederation were far less powerful and more of Congress' lap dog ... kinda like The UK's PM position I would guess de jure ... weasel weasel weasel ...
