At a fundraising dinner, Trump admits to making up stuff about trade deficits and that he walked into a meeting with Justin Trudeau without knowing whether or not the USA has a trade deficit with Canada. What a fucking idiot!

What’s more, he the. Tried to portray Trudeau as stupid for not calling him out as stupid. Stupid Trump!! Mistaking good manners with weakness.

Trudeau was called out by the Canadian press about this failure to call Trump on his lies, on his part and Trudeau basically said “You pick your battles, and there are more important issues at stake in these negotiations”.

Like governments around the world, they jolly the idiot along and then pick his pocket in negotiations.

Notice there are no tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum.

Just remember while Trump has been withdrawing the US from every deal Obama made, Trudeau has been signing a massive trade deal with the European Union, and signing the Trans Pacific Partnership, which gives us intellectual property protections with China the US doesn’t have.
