Government officials are barred by law from campaigning. Trump aide Dan Scavino Jr. violated the Hatch Act with this tweet:

Good. Trump needs to be slapped down for declaring war against the faction of his own Party that's keeping its promise. He also made a promise to REPEAL. He needs to keep that promise.
