Trump didn't just win! He won every major demographic group including all education levels

"NEW YORK VALUES."

This expression, understood everywhere in the country but in the tiny "tri-state: area around NYC, has never before been so publicly displayed for its vacuous obliviousness to reality. Trump is an insufferable ass-hole with nothing but piles and piles of bullshit on his resume, but New Yorkers seem to love him just dandy.

NEW YORK VALUES...

...explains everything. This result is not as significant as Kasich taking Ohio. Ohioans are at least cogent.
That statement by Cruz probably got rid of any chance of getting any delegates tonight...............It was a stupid move and statement...........he didn't really have much of a chance against Trump there.......which is exactly why the GOP hopes Kasich gets some delegates.......early.......very early results showed Kasich head to head with Trump in Queens...................which is why he is still in the race.

Well this will result in some wailing and gnashing of teeth on a biblical scale within the RNC.

"The billionaire Republican frontrunner is shown to have won supermajorities of nearly every demographic group who voted in today’s Republican primary: men (59%), women (56%), all age groups 30 and older, whites (59%), and, perhaps most surprisingly, New Yorkers of all education levels.

Long described as the candidate of those with lower education levels, Trump won supermajorities among those with high school diplomas or less (67%), some college education (59%), a college degree (53%) and those with postgraduate degrees (50%)."

New York primary live: Trump wins as Clinton and Sanders battle it out
I bet Hillary gets four or five times as many votes in New York from every demographic you can name. I bet even Bernie gets double what Trump gets.

New York is solid Blue........................Large enclaves of hard core Dems......................today isn't about November......it is about getting delegates to try and get the magic number................In the general.......it will be a tall order indeed for any GOP candidate to take this state...........................

So New York will play it's part in the GOP primary............95 at stake tonight..........Trump really needs to sweep this state and other states next week to get the delegate totals.

G0000 has it figured out. There are more dems in NY than repubs. The woman is sharp.

Even though we knew Trump was going to clean up New York, it gives his campaign some good energy after a hard couple weeks..

I agree

but it was only "hard couple of weeks" because Trump was robbed. :mad-61:

Is this a surprise ? It's his home state. And his main rival famously shit all over all New Yorkers in that debate .
Tactically, Cruz enhanced his chances with his comment. Cruz was pandering more to non-NY-ers than he was insulting NY-ers. Trump was inevitably going to win the NY primary just like democrats always win NY in the general.
However, the rest of the country has a warranted contempt for NY because NY-ers control media and paint things as though the world revolves around them.

Trump is winning the right to lose NY in the general election.

You foreigners need to get up to speed.

I'm more up to speed than half the American electorate. Considering so many don't even know the name of the VP let alone the name of the Ambassador to the UN. Sort of pathetic.

You're a drunk Canadian ,and not even a tolerable one.
Even if that were true (and it isn't) she'd still have more readers and make more sense than you ever did on your best day! TD rocked this story! Love the opening line. She's got it going on.

All I said is that Trump will lose NY in the general.

Got a $1000 you want to bet otherwise?
True.

"Trump didn't just win! He won every major demographic group including all education levels"

Among republicans, not the state as a whole.

Unlike today, republicans only won’t be voting in New York during the GE, or anywhere else.
