'In a column published late Friday, a member of the Wall Street Journal editorial board claimed it would be "desirable" to subject Donald Trump to a third impeachment to make up for the damage he has done to the U.S. economy with his "ill-founded" trade war.

According to longtime columnist Holman W. Jenkins Jr., Trump's on-again, off-again tariff threats almost makes it appear he wants to be impeached, with Jenkins writing, "A future Trump impeachment seemed all but guaranteed by last Wednesday morning. It seems only slightly less likely now. It may even be desirable to restore America’s standing with creditors and trade partners."
[…]
"No consensus or even significant coalition exists for trying to force into existence a new American 'golden age' with tariffs, which anyway is like asking a chicken to give birth to a lioness. He invented this mission out of his own confused intuition," he accused.

"Nobody in Mr. Trump’s orbit actually shares his belief in the magical efficacy of tariffs because it makes sense only in a world that doesn’t exist, where other countries don’t retaliate," he pointed out before concluding, "The founders never anticipated today’s instantly responsive trillion-dollar financial markets. And yet these markets neatly adumbrate the founders’ scheme of checks and balances, also known as feedback. Mr. Trump, still sane enough to appreciate what’s good for Mr. Trump, listened this week to their feedback."'

Impeachment would also be warranted given Trump’s numerous illegal EOs, his ignoring of the courts, his policies that clearly violate the Constitution, and the fact that Trump is unfit to be president – misdemeanors refer to bad acts and poor conduct by a president, a president who is indeed incompetent, such as Trump.
Call or write your elected officials NOW. Now is the time to stop this nonsense.

No, but if he defies the Supreme Court and refuses it’s command to bring the man he snatched off the street and pa ked off to El Salvador back, that WILL BE an I,peaceable offense.
You need to distinguish what courts said versus what your miscomprehension tells you. SCOTUS only said that the Admin must try to get the alien back here. Whether we succeed or not is a different matter. And no. It’s not a high crime nor a misdemeanor.
As for Holman Jenkins, he has always skirted the edge of the right wing lunatic fringe.
I don’t care. His commentary was retarded. He sounds like one of you libturds.

Well by golly if an editorial opinion piece feels so then Got Him Now

England eventually found the only answer for a king when nothing else could work for Charles I. Perhaps the fanders didn't miss the point after all?

Everybody just remember the sage advice of Professor Richard Wolff.

A fall of a stock market can cause a boom in the economy, and vice versa. That's going to be valuable information for both sides.

Impeachment of a president doesn't work, has never worked, and 'will' never work. For kriste sake, it's like trying to get the predident's mommy to convict him!

Trump has already said that he will comply
Not sure what your issue is....wishfull thinking?
IF is one of those democrat catch-words that they use to instill fear and loathing in their constituents. A few more are WOULD, COULD, SHOULD-- no basis in any reality but thrown around like their subjects are fact when in reality they are just biased predictions and speculation.

Why would President Trump be impeached for keeping a campaign promise to the electorate?
The author didn't say Trump should be impeached, he claims Trump wants to be impeached. Would the Dems like to take advantage of this? Read what the author wrote. He wrote that Trump’s tariff plans and bold rhetoric make impeachment seem “all but guaranteed” by some Democrats, but the author is skeptical of the practicality, noting it could disrupt America’s political standing. Jenkins does not say Trump should be impeached.

Cherry put your money in a savings account. You don't the to stomach for the market volatility.
The reason for the drop starting in January was because of the Fed reserve not cutting the rate.

Now go pound sand, dear.

The Demofks have their bare asses hanging in the wind on that clusterfk idea!

Trump would be a fool to not invite another failed try at impeachment!
