cause it costs a lot to provide freedom for the entire world, including those spongy socialist countries, that know we'll come a runin". i don't think so anymore.

we need to divert all the climate change money to fix the southside of chicago, before we defend denmark, south korea, japan and the other nine hundred countries under our umbrella.

Homicide Watch Chicago how can we call our country civilized when this goes on for eternity. exacerbated by fifty years of democrat politicians, and eons of "community organizing" by the annoited one himself.

maybe it's time to try something new. instead of let's make cuba great again... let's fix chicago first.

so this is really two threads, maybe three. :)

I've said many times that Europe looks down their noses at us for not having the same social safety nets they do, while at the same time heavily depending on the US for their defense. I would love to see how long their safety nets would last if they had to pay 100 percent of their own defense bills.

On that point, I'm with Trump.

But I strongly disagree with Trump that we should encourage the proliferation of nukes in Asia. That's just plain insane.

You know, if we pull our military out of all those countries and bring them back here, there is going to have to be some downsizing done, because if there is no job for the military, the taxpayer is going to wonder why they are paying the military to sit around state side.

But, if you downsize the military because there is nothing for them to do, then how are you going to make the military the "greatest military you've ever seen"?

Trump's plan to withdraw the military from the far East and Europe is directly opposed to his promise to make our military the greatest in the world.

He said he would make it so great so quickly "it will make your head spin". :D

I think he plans on paying for a bigger military by ending the Free Puppies For Illegal Mexicans program.

nukes serve (or once served) a useful purpose in the sense of mutual assured destruction. it's an old concept, but who could iran use a nuke against without themselves ceasing to exist (existential).

but the technology of lasers and drones will usher in the next generation of warfare. before obama called isis junior varsity, but now he's worried they may get a loose nuke or a dirty bomb. sounds to me like he thinks they may already have one, that he's just softening the blow. sounds like duck and cover and the cold war all over again.

i'm pretty sure climate change isn't our biggest problem right now.

no this wasn't filmed in cuba, the cars look like it though.
