Trump lost New Hampshire in '16 by less than 1%.

If the Democrat is fighting for New Hampshire, he's already lost.

Now, I think by the time 2020 rolls around, we are going to be in full recession, and the Democrats could pretty much put up any idiot and beat Trump, but the goal SHOULD be to put up someone who can run the country, and Commie Bernie can't.

America should be in recession by then...all the signs are there.

But I bet you she won't be because it became obvious late last year that when things get rough, the Fed will do whatever Trump tells them to do.

So if a recession is imminent, Trump will simply order (quietly) the Fed to start ZIRP again and QE again...and print trillions of dollars to prop up the economy until election day. And being that the Fed chair and vice-chair are Trump appointed...they will almost certainly do it.

And there is NOTHING Congress can (realistically) do to stop it because it is perfectly legal (and positively insane).

Never doubt for a minute that the economy (since 2008) has been run by the Federal Reserve.

Why would anyone support Bernie after what he did last time? He knew she, the DNC, and members of the MSM colluded to prevent him the nomination. Yet, he supported her in the general, when she was everything he opposed. He really screwed his supporters.

He’s toast.

Your thoughts and "liberal" use of modal verbs are about as significant as an Obama red line.

Its been run by the Federal Reserve longer then that. Obama had easy money with artificially low interest rates.

Ummm...you do realize that Obama was elected in 2008, don't you?

And actually, the Fed was partially influencing the economy from 2001 with it's too low interest rates for too long that helped stimulate the housing boom/crash.
But that pales in comparison to their involvement since 2008.

For various reasons, I think his moment has passed.

I don't see him ending up as even the Democrat nominee - let alone the POTUS.

I don't dislike the guy...but he is too extremist for the mainstream, IMO.

He's not fighting, he's leading by 10%>

I agree with you on may things but I don't agree here.

tRump cannot do anything quietly.

Let's lose the circular firing squad. Bernie is no commie but I also agree he would be at best, an adequate President.

MILES better than Trump but there are numerous better alternatives

Funny...when I typed that I actually hesitated for the very reason you gave.

But, as much as I DETEST the idea, I fear he will shut up about it and order the Fed to prop up the economy until November 2020...just long enough to maybe get re-elected.

But I still think that barring a war, he will lose.

I just hope the Dem's don't blow it with all this socialist stuff. If they keep trying to out-socialist each other...they are liable to scare the independents right into Trump's waiting, fat, flabby, disgusting arms.

If the Dems are smart, they will back off the HUGE government talk for now and just concentrate on getting Trump out. After that, then they can go nuts on their spending fantasies.

But for now...just GET TRUMP OUT.

And I agree with you on many things as well.

A new poll shows Bernie Sanders leading Trump by 10% in the state. And 6% with Schultz on the ballot.
No wonder the attacks on Bernie are picking up.
Bernie Takes Early Lead In New Hampshire Democratic Primary; Potential Tight US Senate Race if Gov. Sununu takes on Sen. Shaheen – Emerson College Polling
And the last 2 polls taken had Cankles Clinton up by 1 and 11 points....Lol...polls are useless when skewed.
When the polls closed on election day "Cankles Clinton" was ahead by 2-3% overall. And she won the popular vote by...wait for it

3%.

The polls were remarkably accurate..at least in that instance

And interestingly that didn't lead to a Recession like occurred in 2008.

Did you see this?

Bernie Sanders as he launches 2020 campaign:
“We have got to look at candidates, you know, not by the color of their skin, not by their sexual orientation or their gender and not by their age.”

WHAT??????
No intersectional victimology doctrine for Bernie??????

Bernie just broke every rule of Progressive, Liberal, Democrat ideology!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He can't possibly run as a Democrat......even if he is an out-of-the-closet Marxist.

Bernie’s position on illegal immigration sure has changed too!

“It does not make a lot of sense to me to bring hundreds of thousands of those workers into this country to work for minimum wage and compete with Americans kids,” Sanders said in 2013. [Bernie Sanders: Immigration Reform Should Rein In Guest Worker Programs, by Dave Jamieson, Huffington Post, June 20, 2013]

“There is a reason that Wall Street likes immigration reform,” Sanders told a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce audience. “What I think they’re interested in is seeing a process by which we can bring low-wage labor into this county.” [Bernie Sanders criticizes ‘open borders’ at Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, by David Weigel, The Washington Post, July 30, 2015]

They always play dumb about the accuracy of polls. They never want to cite the average of polls.
