Donald Trump traveled to CIA headquarters Saturday to offer reassurance to the workforce after he spent weeks criticizing American intelligence, but his unscripted, self-referential remarks before a wall of stars memorializing fallen officers are drawing criticism, including a pointed denunciation from the agency's recently departed director.

"Former CIA Director Brennan is deeply saddened and angered at Donald Trump's despicable display of self-aggrandizement in front of CIA's Memorial Wall of Agency heroes," Nick Shapiro, a former aide to John Brennan at CIA, told NBC News' Andrea Mitchell.

Brennan, Shapiro said, believes Trump "should be ashamed of himself."

It was the largest crowd ever at the moment Trump spoke. Involving the mall and people around the world. That was Spicer's claim. The news is dishonest. They only want to trivialize Trump's inauguration. Obutthole did not need fences and tickets. Trump had to have both. Still millions and millions watched his outstanding speech. The largest ever.

No it wasn't. Not even close. Not the largest on the Mall for an inauguration and not the largest viewed on TV. Reality is that it was the smallest attended inauguration in recent memory and multiple videos, photo's and statistics from multiple sources, prove it beyond doubt. The Trump spokesperson has been called a liar repeatedly and been mocked just like Trump has been called a liar and mocked for his comments on the subject.
