I'm adamantly opposed to the Civil Rights Act. I think it promotes identity politics and undermines equal rights, rather than promoting them.Another in long line of examples of 47 exceeding his authority.
That's said, this EO is a bad idea. We can't force fundamental change on society without real consensus. Attempting to do so merely creates strife on all sides.
A competent leader could make the case for the change, and actually build consensus for their ideas. But we don't vote for competent leaders.
