Trump the Hypocrite- Tax Return evasion

I never cared about Romney's tax returns and I'm not about to start caring about Trump's. They paid them and the IRS wasn't/isn't trying to jail them. This whole revealing ones tax returns is a joke. The only thing its good for is to give the media and pundits something to talk about. I hope after his audit he refuses to release them.

Trump to press: You want me to release my tax returns? Well the IRS found nothing in their audit and are very happy with my tax returns. There's nothing to see and I will not be releasing them. Thank you and have a good day.

Romney: HE HAS SOMETHING TO HIDE!!!!!

Trump: Sit down and shut up Mitt. The IRS has closed the audit and are happy. Go home and stop making an ass of yourself.

Perfectly acceptable, and its not as if I expect a single Trump supporter to care that Trump hypocritically told Romney to show his tax returns and feels above such things himself.
Thats not even true. He's said at least 1,000x that he will release them after the audit. On top of that one of his advisors (Cohen) said it again today on CNN 3x, he even looked into the camera and reiterated it again. Media spreads all kinds of BS about Trump. Now they (media) are saying he's backing down on his Muslim ban

In the age of information, disinformation reigns supreme.

Why wait for the audit to end? Nixon released his while he was being audited and he was the sitting President at the time.
If you have to ask this question you haven't been paying attention to anything or anyone other than pundits

 I'm supposed to pay attention to you instead?

I can't wait for your justification when this alleged audit ends and he still doesn't release them.

Four billion plus is a failure at business?

:lmao:

Based on his claim, not his returns. Nobody beyond him says he's worth that much.

They're aiming for lucky number 20. And if that doesn't work, then lucky number 6,542,982,459,249,284,942,981,766,818,468,344,631,455,678,653,176,531,533,143,455,314,556,646,556,139,686,195,736,591,364,683,257,176,545,688,543,745,957,493,681,534,176,356,581,635,658,716,575,813

First of all let me make this clear- there is no legal obligation for any Presidential candidate to release his tax returns.

But every Presidential candidate for the last 40 years has done so. Even Trump thought this was important- when it wasn't his tax returns

It’s also a sharp break from Trump’s own advice to Mitt Romney. In January 2012, Trump told Greta Van Sustren that Romney “was hurt really very badly” by his initial refusal to release his tax returns. He advised Romney to “release them now.”

Here is the exact quote- my favorite part in red

TRUMP: It's going to be very close. I think Mitt was hurt really very badly by this whole thing with the income tax returns. I believe he should have given them April 1, but I didn't think going into a little bit of detail without going into a lot of detail was positive thing. He'll come back. He has proven to be very resilient guy. He has been hurt a number of times by number of different things, he comes back. He really seems to be very tough and resilient. You have to hand it to him.

And Newt is just great. Every time there is a debate he does so well. You have to give him a lot credit for that.

VAN SUSTEREN: Has Governor Romney been boxed on this tax return thing, and if he called you up tonight and said, Donald what should I do about tax return thing, should I release them or not?

TRUMP: I think first answer would have been good. It should have been delivered a certain way. But April 1st historically is the time that everybody gives them

Donald Trump- GOP candidate for President- Hypocrite

There is plenty of hypocrisy to go around. Read what Mitten Man said about Trump releasing his tax returns. And Hellary screeches about the treatment of women, and then helps slick Willie cover up his abuses. They are politicians, ergo scum.

Mitt Romney: Trump's Decision To Not Release Tax Returns Is 'Disqualifying'

Justification? I already said I hope he tells everyone to blow him ;) He shouldn't release them, no one should. I don't give two shits about anyone's tax returns (Including Romney's, Clinton's, Sanders etc) Media has brainwashed everyone into thinking its so important when in fact they only want them so they can talk about them. It's a sham. Tax returns are important?

"Donald Trump says he isn't releasing his tax returns yet because they are being audited, though the Internal Revenue Service says that's no barrier to disclosure.

In a statement Friday, the IRS said that federal privacy rules prohibit the agency from discussing individual tax matters, but “nothing prevents individuals from sharing their own tax information.”

IRS: Trump can release tax returns, regardless of audit

It's hypocritical for Trump to bash about Mittens not releasing his tax returns then turning around doing same.

Oh, but all the pols are hypocrites!

The D is suppose to be different from the 'establishment'. Guess not.

obama lowered the bar on releasing college transcripts so no candidate or president ever has to release them again. Thanks obama!

That prompted Mitt Romney to take Trump to task late Wednesday afternoon.

"It is disqualifying for a modern-day presidential nominee to refuse to release tax returns to the voters, especially one who has not been subject to public scrutiny in either military or public service," wrote the former GOP presidential nominee.

I saw Donald Trump's tax returns. You should, too.

TRUMP, THE LIFESTYLE

Trump's taxes could tell a lot about how much of his high-flying lifestyle is being written off as business expenses. The bills for his giant yacht, for example, were written off as a casino expense, according to former casino manager John O'Donnell. Trump's returns probably wouldn't itemize every fuel receipt for his jet or the like, but they would likely include total deductions for different types of expenses such meals, travel and more.

TRUMP'S NETWORK

Trump reported in his financial disclosures last year that he has nearly 500 businesses, more than 90 percent of them owned entirely by him. Tax experts say many of those companies may well be "pass-through" entities that would be part of his personal tax return. So Trump's tax return could tell how much income they made, offering fresh information about the financial health of his organization, according to Robert Kovacev, a lawyer at Steptoe & Johnson and former Justice Department Tax Division official who represents taxpayers in high-profile tax disputes with the IRS.

WILD CARDS

Experience with other candidates indicates there's no telling what else could show up in those returns. President Richard Nixon ended up paying an extra $465,000 after he released his tax returns and they turned out to contain errors and mischaracterizations, says Thorndike. The Clintons' tax returns offered details about Hillary Clinton's lucrative trading in cattle futures when she was first lady of Arkansas. Bernie Sanders attracted some attention for deducting nearly $9,000 in business meals last year. GOP 2012 nominee Mitt Romney, in a Facebook post Wednesday urging the release of Trump's returns, suggested all sorts of possibilities: "While not a likely circumstance, the potential for hidden inappropriate associations with foreign entities, criminal organizations, or other unsavory groups is simply too great a risk to ignore for someone who is seeking to become commander in chief," he wrote.

Nothing to learn from Trump’s taxes? Not true

Yes, and here is some pretty good guess work as to why he won't release his tax returns.

Delegates should declare: No tax returns, no nomination
