Trump to eliminate Department of Education…note to fake anarchists…this is a good thing,

10 of billions wasted on the federal bureaucracy doesn't help kids idiot...is hard for you to comprehend?
Since that is not really what's happening, we sure don't need to make schools for profit.

Get off your racial b*******..it's irrelevant to Reading writing and arithmetic.....why if you want to force minority kids into fail it public schools with no choice..... school choice fool ...the under performance schools can clean it up or be closed
Shut up white man. It is relevant. It's relevant to funding schools. Private schools are no better.

I think private schools can be good, because they can instill their values in the pupils. And private schools aren't always religious in nature, there are non-religious ones, too.

STFU with that dumb s*** we need competition in schools .People want school choice , people don't give a s*** about your racial b******* they want a good education.

According to a new poll from RealClear Opinion Research, which surveyed 1,000 registered voters from June 27-30, 2023, the concept of school choice enjoys overwhelming support (71% vs. 13% opposed). This is true across party lines, with 66% of Democrats, 80% of Republicans, and 69% of Independents saying they support such a policy. Additionally, 70% of Asian, 73% of Black, 71% of Hispanic, and 71% of White voters support school choice.

Public schools have done quite well relative to instilling values. What's needed is t spare no expense to educate our kids instead of sparing no expense to build up our military. If we reversed our spending and spent what we did on the military on our schools, this conversation wouldn't be necessary.

We need to increase funding for education. School choice has always existed. Private schools have always been here. Overcrowding private schools is not going to create better outcomes.

But what if parents object to the values that the public schools are instilling? They should have the freedom to choose what private schools to send their kids to so they can have the values that are important to them.

Money following the kids has never really been the case. I remember they did have a voucher program in Washington DC, that was doing well before Obama canceled it. We spend plenty of money on failing schools, it isn't about the money it's about performance
