The general percentage for confirmation of a scientific theory in my field is 99.9995% probability, or Sigma 6.

And yet AGW cultists say the debate is over, the science is settled.

That alone should raise red flags to any clear-thinking individual.

Wrong. Probability is a small part of science. First, a theorem has to be logically consistent. That often involves math, especially in the case of the physical sciences. After that, the empirical data has to support the math. If it doesn't, then you go back to the chalkboard to redo the math.
