Turns out USAID was Investigating Musk's Starlink before DOGE killed it.

Yes I am.

They were already investigating Starlink when DOGE got involved. It doesn't matter how legitimate DOGE is in shutting them down, with Musk involved it will raise questions. That's just common sense. People will naturally have concerns over what happened and I understand why they would.

This isn't a matter of being pro Trump or anti DOGE, it's about pointing out why people might take pause over this and that there needs to be some sort of firewall in place for situations like this so these decisions can't be undermined. Otherwise anything that can be used and pointed out as democrat waste can be seen as a poisoned well from those who feel like Musk is abusing his position.
Musk ain't doin' no conflict of interest stuff.
It's his team of experts actually doing things.
They'll point out everything, they don't care.
Them geekwads dgaf. Guaranteed.

Maybe the FBI will look into this matter, and clear up any loose ends.

So the answer is, is you're not looking for an honest conversation and you just want to cheerlead your team is all. Alright. I won't waste either more of our time then.

Interesting. Looks like USAID was investigating it contracts with Starlink for aid to Ukraine when DOGE shut it down. An amazing coincidence.

From the article it looks like they are investigating their own over site of Starlink.
Doesn't appear to be the gotcha moment you were hoping for.

“The USAID Office of Inspector General, Inspections and Evaluations Division, is initiating an inspection of USAID’s oversight of Starlink satellite terminals provided to the Government of Ukraine. Our objectives are to determine how (1) the Government of Ukraine used the USAID-provided Starlink terminals, and (2) USAID monitored the Government of Ukraine’s use of USAID-provided Starlink terminals.”

Go figure. :auiqs.jpg: One of many conflict of interest making Elon the wrong man to turn the keys over to.
Hindsight is an amazing thing. Musk and his GenZ Ballsies are really making the money trails obvious. I say whoever has been corrupt should get the Orange Jumpsuits. ALL OF THEM!!!

I agree. Let me know when the trials start. So far, nothing but accusations, projections of dollars to be saved, not realized, workers laid off with bad performance for no charges, then being called back, as let go without reason to begin with. The selling the sizzle faze is almost over. Where's the beef? If some are guilty, lets see it in court, and not just some low level schlep. Let the hard hitting big fraud provable malfeasance trials be won for all to see.

Sounds like USAID was doing things outside their lane. Their lane is the disbursement of aid that has be approved by congress. Congress is the investigative body who approves the expenditures. USAID mission statement.

USAID's Mission

On behalf of the American people, we promote and demonstrate democratic values abroad, and advance a free, peaceful, and prosperous world.

In support of America's foreign policy, the U.S. Agency for International Development leads the U.S. Government's international development and disaster assistance through partnerships and investments that save lives, reduce poverty, strengthen democratic governance, and help people emerge from humanitarian crises and progress beyond assistance.
