Turns out USAID was Investigating Musk's Starlink before DOGE killed it.

The main reason we don’t bother as much as we used to is that what you Trump cultists think is “news” is so utterly ridiculous and false. Loony Tunes level nonsense.

Right wing media isn’t real. There are no journalists. Fox is not, and never was intended to be a news organization.

And political operatives on X aren’t news at all.

It’s a made up cartoon world designed to appeal to the fears and prejudices of plain folk, presented in meme and sound byte, for an audience hatvthinks politics is a giant reality show for their entertainment.
normally I would just put pricks like you on ignore because you have nothing to offer in a rational discussion ,,

but its going to be fun watching your head explode,,

Actually, they do appear to have investigatory powers of certain things, but this instance, they weren't investigating musk, it was just an internal audit of their own oversight.
Each agency has an IG office, the IG was investigating. Xiden’s USAid

It’s not that you don’t try, it’s that you are stupid

You posted a link of the IG investigating the Xiden admin USAid, and claimed it was the USAid invesgsting Musk.

You literally provided proof of why the USAid spending should be frozen for the time being

What do you think of the US taking ownership and developing Gaza as the Riviera of the Middle East? It's a friggin desert. I bet the sand traps will be bitch at Trump Gaza.

USAID does have that authority to investigate them. While a lot of what they have done is shady and needs to looked into and exposed in itself, having Elon involved in this instance creates a conflict of interest and reasonable doubt in the public's mind. There needs to be a firewall between him and DOGE if you want to keep things above board.

Under the Supreme court ruling, obviously a President has "so let it be written, so let it be done" authority, without fear of prosecution. Trump created the new agency, whole cloth and put Elon over it, unbound. You should move to have the printing plates changed to "In Elon We Trust" and then put your own money in Crypto.
Elon is not ‘unbound’ ….. Take a deep breath, chill. :itsok: :itsok:

Guess who owns a big part of that!

Interesting. Looks like USAID was investigating it contracts with Starlink for aid to Ukraine when DOGE shut it down. An amazing coincidence.

I do not get you, at all.

Nawsuh!
I disagree.

USAID ain't got a pot to piss in. They're cut off.
Anything they do from here on out is under the supervision of one Mr. Marco Rubio!

It felt better than good to say that, lemme tell ya!

Well said. Obviously disagree, but well said, nonetheless.

I agree that they need to be looked into and possibly defunded. However they have the authority to investigate Starlink and Musk being involved makes it look like a conflict of interest regardless of how legitimate his findings may be. You want things done right, then it needs to be done above board. Not sure how that could be done in the case of DOGE but it does open them up to legitimate criticism. You don't have to like it to acknowledge that as the truth.

No, no they do not.

USAID has every right to conduct audits and investigations over any of their contracts, and Musk had a contract with them regarding Ukraine. You can deny it if you want, but that doesn't make you right. Now do you want an honest conversation or is your strategy of debate from the school of hiding your head in the sand and denying anything you don't like?

I'm an American taxpayer. Are you?
USAID can suck my motherfuckin' nuts. That's the authority they have.
Are you fucking retarded?
An Executive committee sanctioned by the Chief Executive has the absolute authority to scrutinize anything in the Executive Branch.
They were an Executive Bureau, or something like that I guess, but they are not anymore.
They have no authority over much at all these days, brah.
Whatever Rubio wants is what they will do. :auiqs.jpg:

Yes I am.

They were already investigating Starlink when DOGE got involved. It doesn't matter how legitimate DOGE is in shutting them down, with Musk involved it will raise questions. That's just common sense. People will naturally have concerns over what happened and I understand why they would.

This isn't a matter of being pro Trump or anti DOGE, it's about pointing out why people might take pause over this and that there needs to be some sort of firewall in place for situations like this so these decisions can't be undermined. Otherwise anything that can be used and pointed out as democrat waste can be seen as a poisoned well from those who feel like Musk is abusing his position.
