Ukraine drained US stockpiles

I dont know how much you know about the war

Not much I suspect

The north almost overran all of korea but the US counterattacked and drove all the way to the Yalu River when china entered the war

The red army drove to just south of Seoul before we stopped them and drove them back to the 38th Parallel

And thats were the two sides remain to this day

I dont foresee the US military operating inside north Korea ever again
Never say never. :aargh:

And what did you want to say with this historical excursion? That the war ended with a draw? It is obvious to anyone who has an atlas of Asia.

You don't foresee? Okay, I am all for that. Let's hope that the issues with Koreas and Taiwan will be resolved in a peaceful manner.

Thats entirely up to china

But any military action over Taiwan will be naval not a land war

The army has been neglected for long. That resulted in low production capacities. 12 -13 Abrams tanks annually for example. And they are going to foreign clients. Why would they need an army when they have "rebels" and Ukrainians?
We don't neem to build more Abrams, we have hundreds in storage in climate-controlled buildings. We just update and refurbish as needed. We build a few for international customers to keep the assembly line open and the personnel trained.

Yeah, I would like to see the US engaging in a war with more or less equal rival. To see what your buffoonery is really worth.
Who is even remotely as capable? Not Russia, when it can't beat a third-rate Ukrainian military in three years. Not North Korea or Iran. Maybe China, but China hasn't fought a near peer opponent ever.

Naval, yes. If America wouldn't decide to land on the Chinese shore for some reason - to prevent a large Chinese landing operation, for example.

Okay, I should add something. In the case of a large ground war with China, your ass has more chances to get whipped.
It depends on where it is fought. If it is fought in North America, the PLA and PLAN will be destroyed. If it is fought in SE Asia, the same result. If it is fought in China, the PLA would have a chance, but not a good one since its weapons are Russian designs maintained by draftees with limited training.

Yes, maybe China.

In China. I read a while ago that the Chinese army consists mainly of recruits. Not sure why you are so confident. In Korea and Vietnam, the American army wasn't so impressive.

You are way off the edge and on your way down

Not at all. If you think you just can 'bomb the shit out of them', you are seriously deluded.
China is planning to bomb the shit out of Taiwan in preparation for an invasion

The US would try to intercept chinese rockets and chinese aircraft attacks

That would lead to ship to ship warfare

But thats up to china because Taiwan and the US are not going to invade the mainland

In Korea, the US Army destroyed both the North Korean Army and the Chinese "volunteers". The Chinese took over 400,000 killed and another 468,000 wounded. The North Koreans took 350,000 killed and another 303,000 wounded PLUS more than 300,000 missing in action and probably dead. Versus 54,246 Killed and 103,284 wounded. That's damned impressive. In Vietnam, the US Army never lost a major battle and drove the North Vietnamese in Paris to sign a humiliating peace treaty with the USA and South Vietnam. The fact that North Vietnam violated the treaty two years later has no bearing on the humiliating defeat they suffered.

My bet is the Chinese tactics will be sea and aerial blockade of the island, eliminating military targets there, and after that a landing operation.

That is, if they decided to resolve this issue by military force.

Why are you bragging about these figures? Your goal was a genocide of the North Koreans and Chinese? I suppose that not. Despite heavy loses and a scorched land tactic employed by the US, the North managed to end this war with a draw.

Vietnam. After a humiliating treaty, there was a humiliating retreat. Then again, after a scorched land tactic. The Vietnam war was a disgrace for the US. You had better forget it, not bragging about.

Yes, a chinese naval blockade is possible

It makes a lot if sense but it is an act of war
