Those are American miners. During Trump's first term, Putin tried that with some American soldiers in Syria and 200 Russians died.

So you think the US military will fight on the side of Ukraine? I don't.

IMHO Trump won't send any miners in until the war is over.

Doubtful it would be American ground troops. Probably just carrier-based airstrikes and destroyer-launched missiles on Russian positions in Ukraine.

That’s not answering the question. I said they’d die, that’s what killing means. What do you think will happen. You are the one that claimed he was gonna do it
I have no way of knowing how Trump would react if Russia deliberately killed Americans in Ukraine; the record of his first administration offers some clues:

"Donald Trump is fond of blaming Barack Obama and Joe Biden for the debacle in Ukraine, but he is wrong.

"A major share of the blame also lies with Donald Trump because he oversaw the dramatic growth of the Ukrainian military during his first term and, to this day, brags about supplying Ukraine with Javelin missiles.

"I am no fan of Barack Obama… in fact, I’ve been a staunch critic, but the data on the growth of the Ukrainian military during Trump’s first term is irrefutable."

Donald Trump, Not Barack Obama, is Responsible for Ukraine’s Dramatic Military expansion between 2011 and 2021

Your link:

"The big picture: U.S. officials contend the agreement will increase U.S. involvement in Ukraine's economy and serve as a partial security guarantee for Ukraine because the U.S. will want to secure its investments.
"Zoom in:
The government-to-government agreement will establish a joint fund, with each country contributing 50% of the financing and future U.S. military assistance to Ukraine counting as a contribution to the fund."
Will Putin interrupt his laughter long enough to kill any American boots-on-the-ground securing U$ investment$ in Ukraine?
IMHO Trump will not put any miners into Ukraine until the war is over.
A better question is: would the US defend Ukraine from a future Russian invasion or attack?

US military vs Russian military? I don't think Trump would risk WW3. I don't think the US has any military assets near Ukraine. We have bases in Poland and Germany, too far to be helpful. Trump had better have really powerful sanctions to use if Putin starts again.

Hahab Russia was in Ukraine before Trump took office

Trump’s cleaning up their mess

Put American engineers in the zone and it will quickly cease to be a war zone.
Only Hamas is stupid enough to attack American civilians in a foreign country and look what happened to them.
Russia is not Hamas, and they are defending their back-yard. The peace deal had better be a good one.

Agreed.
Personally, I put more blame on Obama and Biden for backing the "Revolution of Dignity" in 2014; although, I also blame NATO expansion which began under Clinton in the early 90s.

From where? Do you know how close Ukraine is to Russia?
Any US carrier dumb enough to get too close to the fighting gets sunk.
Trump would never send missiles into what Russians consider Russia.

In Syria Trump killed 200-300 Russian mercs,

Big difference attacking the Russian military. That would be WW3.

I hope you are right, but what happens if Putin uses the miners for target practice?
then he will be guilty of attacking and killing Americans and American interests .. not something he wants to do with the Trump admin at the helm ..

I can't help wondering if that war will end by November, 2028?

I suppose we would have to start with a map of where these minerals are located inside Ukraine to begin to understand any threat to American miners?

I sincerely hope you're right about Trump and WW3, but I worry about how he would act if his manhood is threatened by the accusation of "losing" Ukraine or if any US service members die in the Middle East at the hands of Arabs or Persians.

It seems somewhat contradictory that Trump will secure a long-term investment in Ukraine at the same time he's trying to scale back US security commitments around the world, but I guess I should be used to that by now.
