Agreed.
Personally, I put more blame on Obama and Biden for backing the "Revolution of Dignity" in 2014; although, I also blame NATO expansion which began under Clinton in the early 90s.
I understand where you're coming from but the BLAME is 100% on Putin. Biden's weakness is no excuse for what Putin did.

Is a mining deal really smart in a war zone?

Putin must be laughing his ass off.
.
Point 1: If they hit a area that is covered by the USA they have attcked America.

Point 2: Puken has a tiger by the tail.

Remember Ivan was suppose to roll right over Uk ? NATO will never let the RF win.

Point 3: Trump is strangling Russia's only real economy......Oil.

I can't help wondering if that war will end by November, 2028? I suppose we would have to start with a map of where these minerals are located inside Ukraine to begin to understand any threat to American miners?

I sincerely hope you're right about Trump and WW3, but I worry about how he would act if his manhood is threatened by the accusation of "losing" Ukraine or if any US service members die in the Middle East at the hands of Arabs or Persians.

It seems somewhat contradictory that Trump will secure a long-term investment in Ukraine at the same time he's trying to scale back US security commitments around the world, but I guess I should be used to that by now.

2. Trump has no skin in Ukraine or the ME. America First isn't just a slogan.

3. If Trump puts miners in Ukraine the war will be over long before,

#3 is part of Trump's idea. Putin will have to consider America could, and probably will have, mining operations in Ukraine right next to its border with Russia.

1. If Americans are in the Ukraine war zone, next to Russia, and are attacked, it is not an attack on the US.
2. True, Ukraine is a lot tougher than Putin
3. Yep, the war was supposed to be over in 3-days. WTF is a RF?

I hope I’m wrong but I don’t see this working out.

Trump doesn’t want to defend Ukraine. Trump doesn’t want to stand up to Putin.

This puts the Trump administration in a position that they really don’t want to be in, and I don’t think minerals are worth it for them.

I don’t expect Trump to hold up his side of the deal, which wouldn’t be the first time for him.

Thanks for the map; it appears there are substantial mineral deposits a long way from current front lines.

I'm not sure about Trump's skin in the game primarily because of his relationship with Steve Schwarzman's Blackstone Group and its connections to Ukraine.

Trump has said the quiet part out loud about his intentions for Gaza unless you believe he was trolling:

American expansionism under Donald Trump - Wikipedia

"Since being elected to a second term, Trump has said at various points that he wants to annex Canada, Greenland, and the Panama Canal.

"He has also suggested invading Venezuela, annexing Mexico, and taking over the Gaza Strip.

"Trump's determination to treat the Western Hemisphere as a U.S. sphere of influence has been characterized as a revival of the Monroe Doctrine."

It's not worth the cost of the paper it's printed on.
And there it is, if it is a win for the US that has Trump attached to it you loons are going to try and shit all over it. If it had been Biden or if that idiot Harris had won and did the same you morons would be hailing it as a crushing blow to Putin.

Ok, so its a done deal, now what?

I'm not optimistic. Putin must be laughing his ass off.

It's all part of the scripted Deep State theatre ,

The big question is how will Trumpfy and Pooters handle Russia taking back the Nazi stronghold of Odessa and the whole of the south coast running to the border with Rumbletonia .
Will that happen ?
Or , be allowed to happen ?
I imagine both would like Ukey matters settled so that they can get on with the Greater Israel Plan , and the Financial Re-Set .

shame they are going to tear up ukraine for these metals, most are not shaft mines but open pit
That said, it will likely not be US miners but how does the split go?
they keep 80% of the profit for their funds and we get 20% of the minerals once mined and processed?
