I don't know that it's Valentined themed but I saw this and I MUST HAVE....would be great for a movie thon date.

thon. not thong.

I miss my boyfriend, he won't be in town for Valentine's day, I might make a meal for my mom and step dad since they have been so good to me my whole life.

I make chocolates, one of my creations was dried cherry in white chocolate in a heart shaped mold.
But Dark chocolate drives them crazy, so Strawberry taffy being red and Raspberry taffy as well both go great with dark chocolates.
Melting chocolates can be found with molds at any hobby store usually the baking section.
The taffy filling can be made with heating up small almost equal amount sugar, corn syrup, condensed milk, flavor extract (strawberry or raspberry) and 2 drops red food color.
When making caramel same thing but use butter & substitute vanilla extract as the flavoring & brown sugar instead of regular.

Yeah I think you can get molds at Michaels craft store. Thanks for that.

TO go the extra mile; it takes longer, but people love my creation of
Peanut butter cookie filled Reeses like dark chocolate peanut butter cups.
Michael's and Hobby Lobby have plastic molds for peanut butter cups.
Harder to make, because you have to make tiny peanut butter cookies first and of course the taste test to approve them for insertion into the chocolate cups and cover in peanut butter is always a test of will power. :p

mmm food porn baby  sounds so good

What if your family eats your heart out, do you leave a bite mark in each hamburger as a subtle hint? :)

ooo a chocolate person HaShev i want to do a chocolate dome thingie...where you have two chocolate domes and put fruit in the bottom one...top it with the other chocolate dome....then to serve it you heat up chocolate sauce and pour over dome melting it....

Wow, that's a cool presentation and clever idea, I guess those plastic popcorn bowls you find at dollar stores which have extremely smooth surfaces would be good for dome molds. You can even use chocolate whip cream or mousse on the fruit before placing the top of the dome.

a popcorn bowl is gonna make a hell of a dome....i am thinking a small balloon....maybe a 4 inch or so bowl filled with raspberries or some other out of season pricey fruit
